Scouts Skirmish lawyering

3.5/d20/OGL

Ok I am pretty sure this has been gone over more then I care to count but I need a ruling on the Scouts Skirmish(EX) ability.

From the way I read it it sounds as though you get multiple attacks (granted if your high enough lvl to have them) or is it seen much like a charge were you only receive 1 attack for moving more then 5ft.

I see it as you do but my DM see's it like a charge movement.

Reasoning behind this is the working int he Skirmish description.

I.E: Skirmish(EX): A scout relies on mobility to deal extra damage and improve her defense. She deals an extra 1d6 points of damage on all attacks she makes during any round in which she moves at least 10 feet.

Multiple attacks while moving were not part of the scouts skirmish power for free. The scout was however a 3.5 class that had access to feats from the PHB2 like : Improved and Greater Spring Attack, and the Two-Weapon Pounce. All of which would gain the benefit from Skirmish.

It doesn't grant the ability to move and make a full attack but if you get the ability from somewhere else then all your attacks would get the extra damage.

Means of getting those extra attacks (note there are more than the few I have listed):

Mobile fighter archtype
Greater Beast totem
The feat that has Trick rider as a prerequisite in the APG
Cleave and Great Cleave
Pounce

If you move ten feet or more, you gain the benefits. That's it.

If you make one attack due to having moved, you get the bonus damage on that one attack.

If you make multiple attacks - which you really, really, really need to do in order to be worth much of anything - then you get the bonus damage to all the attacks.

90% of being a scout is finding a way to get full attacks after moving, in all honesty.

I can understand that I guess my argument is the fact that Skirmish is a Extraordinary Ability and wording used in its description.

Google-fu:

Snow Tiger Berserker feat (berserker lodge feat (RP restriction), light weapons only, Unapproachable East)

Lion Tribe Warrior (Regional feat, human only, single light weapon only, Shining South)

Catfolk Pounce feat (Racial feat: Catfolk, Races of the Wild. Available at character level 1, but listed at level 2 because of Catfolk's +1 LA)

Psionic Lion's Charge (2nd level psywar power, augments to add damage to each attack, Expanded Psionic's Handbook)

Lion's Charge (3rd level druid / 4th level ranger spell, most recent version Miniatures Handbook)

Wild Shape (Fleshraker, Monster Manual III)

Lion's Pounce Wild Feat (Complete Divine)

Wild Shape (Tiger) (If Core-only.)

Weretouched II: Tiger (Weretouched Master prestige class ability, Shifter only and only while shifting, Eberron CS)

Pouncing Ambush (5th level Reachrunner prestige class ability, Shifter only and only while shifting, against flat-footed opponent only, Races of Eberron)

Lion's Pounce (4th level Sigh Rager prestige class ability, Oriental Adventures)

Lion's Pounce (5th level Lion of Talisid prestige class ability, Book of Exalted Deeds)

Drift 4: Pounce like a leopard (7th level Geomancer drift, Complete Divine)

Claws of the Leopard (spiked gauntlets, Complete Adventurer, priced at 38,305. Only works with the claws themselves).

Crinty Shadow Maurauder 5 (shadow pounce) - Shining South (Forgotten Realms)

Wildrunner 6 (primal scream: pounce) - Races of the Wild

Blade of Orien 10, Eberron: Dragonmarked, full attack after dimension leap

You can also get it from Ecolocater 7 (Psionic class) which lets you take 2 five foot steps and then make a full attack.

The Dervish class also can move and make a full attack.

That actually misses the two most popular:

Travel Devotion
Greater Manyshot (Pre-PF version)

Yeah - it was just a google result, not a full S&D (search and display) post.

My scout has Travel Devotion :-)

Don't forget that it's the entire round. Attacks of opportunity you make also count.

I am not entirely sure how this would interact with being bull rushed 10 feet. According to RAW, it might give you the bonuses after that.
