I have been gaming in Jacksonville for a couple of years now and I am hoping to find some like minded individuals who would like to form a Pathfinder Society Gaming Group. Lots of gamers here, just everyone already has a group. Thats what I get for moving away from my old group :)
If you're not 100% hooked on Pathfinder, I've been playing with a Shadowrun group that needs another player. Probably the wrong place to hit people up, but hey, I saw you were in my area, and figured I'd say something.

I live in Jacksonville and would be interested in a Pathfinder Society game.
I also live in Jacksonville and would be interested in Pathfinder Society games - but I'm new at this (old gamer, just new to making connections on line), and I fear I am a little lost as to how to connect.

I am the DM of the Kingmaker game that Greg mentioned. We are indeed looking for a couple more players. We are about half-way through the first book, so it would be a great time to join up. We play every other Saturday night and the people we have are great. The next time we are meeting is Dec. 4th.

Not sure about a Kingmaker game, not even sure what it is (rule system or Adventure plot-line).
A friend of mine in CO was talking about Pathfinder Society games like it was a Living campaign (like LG used to be) - that's really what I am looking for. I've found a PF game with an open seat in JAX - so I started in last week, it's just that the game is currently advanced enough that they had me start an 8th Lvl guy (I really like to start at low level and grow the character). So I was wondering if anyone knew of a Pathfinder "Living Campaign"?

Kingmaker is an Adventure Path for Pathfinder. Paizo creates a series of connected modules that start a character at first level and take them into the high levels. The player's guides for thier Adventure path series are all available as free downloads. Currently, our game is a mixture of third and second level characters. The player's guide may be found here:
http://paizo.com/store/downloads/pathfinder/adventurePath/v5748btpy8dqhIt was the AP's that brought me back to playing DnD. I had read PathfinderBeta, and really liked what I saw. But then a friend bought me Burnt Offerings hoping, in the minute chance, that I would return to DMing. BAM, next thing I know, I am on my second year of it. I haven't run a campaign over six weeks without stopping in over ten years. ( my longest was a cyberpunk campaign with dm tradeoffs that lasted about a year.) It is worth downloading the player's guides for all the AP's. If only to get your immagination spurred, or to learn a bit about the Golarion world.
This is not Society play though. Currently, I am unaware of any that do PFS in Jax. But I would check the boards for Borderlands in Arlington and SunCoast Comics on westside. I am sure there are a few other stores, but not certain which ones are still left. Back in the early nineties, there were easily 15+ stores with game rooms here. Now, notsomuch :(
Anyway, if interested, Stuart (above poster) would be glad to here from ya.

Stuart, I need to get in touch with you... please email me at nosig@aol.com and I'll call you. It is likely that I have two other players for your Kingmaker game.

Gregory,
Stuart let me know that he got in contact with you. I am glad you are giving us a chance. Your posts happened to come at the same time a good friend announced he could no longer play in Stu's Kingmaker. The buddy has times he is "on call" and cannot leave his home. :(
But I am looking forward to seeing you at the table. If have any questions about the gaming style, players, characters, or whatever, I can be contacted at
See ya soon,
Greg
