When I think streamlining I think efficiency. Combat rolls make PF very inefficient. Thank God for the Combat Manager app with it's roll function or I may have never have finished Kingmaker.

Biggest culprits are attack and damage rolls. I know both would be very hard to change without greatly affecting many other parts of the game, but perhaps we could just use more static numbers, like instead of the 5d6 fireball, it is the d6*5 fireball, or if your not going to get rid of multiple attacks then make one attack roll and reduce each other attack by a 5 or some other static number.

191. The player's village is swallowed by a cosmic world serpent and now must find an escape through the creatures body/dungeon.

183. Players were stolen away to the First World as infants and now must return to the material plane many years later as agents of the faire court.

Sorry one more thing it your going to be barrister or any other profession in any regard besides a pure student you must put a rank in it. Also you might what to allocate a rank to knowledge nobility which covers sport hunting.

I'm good with everything but you knowing Morvius, the game is set so that you are all strangers.

I see the character sections of the google site doesn't have a place for alignment so please add that to the note section of the character in the lower right hand corner.

To those that didn't place this in their backgrounds I need to know where your character is living. You all are living in the section of the city called the Midlands.

Okay, in the site and put in the basic numbers. Would an appropriate contact be the wizard/craftsman that Morvius is apprenticing under?

Also, had a question about the favored class bonus. Morvius took the APG option to learn an extra spell every level, with the caveat that it be at least one level lower than the highest level of spell known. Since a wizard starts knowing all cantrips (except those from the opposition schools), I wasn't sure how you wanted to handle it.

1). Allow one cantrip from an opposition school to be learned?
2). Allow the extra skill point until Morvius learns level 2 spells?
3). Allow one cantrip from an outside source? (Such as the create ice cantrip from the Ice Magic supplement.)
4). Loose any potential bonus until Morvius learns level 2 spells?

The choice is made when you gain a level, but since you know all the cantrips in the core and APG then choosing a below wizard spell at 2nd is pointless. Now to learning a cantrip not in the fore mentioned books, well if it fits the campaign I'll allow it. You'll have to sell it to me. Ice magic sounds like rare magic in Korvosa's subtropic climate.

I want you all to decide on a city contact. Someone that you know that resides in the city, a trusted ally other then a PC. I few restriction must be observed though:

They must be around you level and social class, no one rubs elbows with the Archbanker of Abadar.

They must be accessible, so not out-town or in prison.

I will use this NPC to not only introduce you in the game but help me tell your individual story as the campaign progresses.

I suppose that would be a good first question. Where is the site? I didn't see a link to it anywhere.

This sounds like a good game for a Inquisitor so that is what I'm putting forth.

I would really like to try D20 pro and Council of Theives I haven't played or run so I would vote for that.

Sundays are good for me, and I suggest one of the adventures paths.

Yes I am accepting characters here but still deciding to use this as a platform for the game.

APG is definatly in just non paizo published material even if it bares the Pathfinder name.

I'd be looking to play a ranger, once a poor man addicted to shiver(as the trait) nearly losing his life he was taken in by a former Sable Marine member who taught him his ranger skills and ultimately into the ranks of the Sable Marines themselves.

Thinking of either a dwarf or human.

I see where is this going, be thee warning the first hippogriff is free put if it dies.. the replacement comes at your expense, also you can't be active full time member of the Sable Company and full time adventure so tell why your taking a leave of absence or if you just left the unit.

Sure some uses of bluff can be used "honorably".

Of those uses mentioned I would not consider feinting to be one of them. It is in essence fighting dirty otherwise not honorable. The text for improved feint is that "you are skilled at fooling your opponents in combat." You are gaining an advantage through deceit.

I don't think a Paladin should be subject to intimidation, which their not because their fearless or threats. You can't be held responsible for others actions.

hehehe - I use all the social skills to represent Meloku's ability to make the world believe in him by the force of his spirit. He shapes reality into a better place that way.

This is strictly a observation, but wouldn't the use of bluff but your paladins code in jeopardy.

I should have my character finished by tomorrow. I have been doing a lot of reading up on the region and the city, but here are few development tidbits.

I consider me character a socialite and merchant so he will most likely have the following:

Feat: Cosmopolitan - Skills will be perception and bluff
Trait: Eyes and Hears of the City
Travel Subdomain: Trade

I just found the template used for the example and here is the link with hopes that you will use this. I go on to say that all the heavy lifting is done and all it takes on your end is create and name the sight and then as owner share edit status by entering the players email addresses which I think may need to be gmail accounts.

Well I am defiantly enthusiastic about any of the aforementioned DM's running a LoF PbP.

Seeing some of the suggestions of earlier posts a merchant/cleric of Abadar would be a good character for myself. His nature would but me in the forefront of negotiations.

It looks like there many that wish to play but few to take up the mantle of DM.
