always sunny in sargava


Serpent's Skull


i'm about to begin the serpent's skull adventure path with first time players ( i also have not "game mastered" in twenty years), anyway my party has decided to base their characters on the show "always sunny in philadelphia", i thought it would be okay as this seems to be more of a mercenary ap then some others (kingmaker also seems good choice). i will keep posted on how the party does, so far the only character made (the others will be made this weekend) is sweet dee (a witch of course), my group felt it would allow them to really let loose, the only ground rule i set down (which everyone agreed on) is no good alignments,

frank "the hammer" graniteaxe ( cn dwarven male ranger 1) frank

should be interesting having a mostly evil party
i do love a challenge tho lol


This is awesome. I just hope that all the players are ok with failing. Not in a combat or ultimate goal sorta way. but for instance if role played correctly the other NPC's will quickly learn to hate these stupid selfish a$$holes and not co-operate and prolly die.
that and I see self sabotage and party cohesion being an issue if the players let it.

the group got delayed,
so due to party attrition and general lack of time during the holidays the launch of the campaign has been pushed back till february, the reson is the players for frank, grunmon (charlie) and mack all left for various reasons that need not be gone into, on the plus side my brother who has never played pathfinder will be moving back from points up north at the end of feb., also another brother has joined in, no one has taken franks place (tho i plan on using him as a guide later.
sweet dee and deimos are unchanged but the following changes have occurred to the rest

"sir" charles kellik (ce human-chelaxian male barbarian1 -drunken brute archetype)
magnus "mack" monclaire (le human-chelaxian cleric 1 (asmodeus) domains: fire(ash), trickery
frank "the hammer" graniteaxe (cn dwarven male oracle (juju) 5 , npc

thanks for the patience everyone, it should be epic, or at the very least a cautionary tale about making an all evil party based on characters from a t.v. show that has absolutely nothing to do with fantasy rpg.
