Using Google's conversion function (typing "12000 metric tons in pounds" into the search box), I get 26,455,471.5 pounds.

(It works as a currency converter, too—typing "26,455,471.5 pounds in dollars," I get 42,185,940.3000 US Dollars. So 12 kilotons is therefore just over $42 million. Isn't math fun?)

Ok, so in the new DC game, Superman can lift about 26+ pounds. This would be Superman as an adult, what would you reccomend for his maximum strength when he was Superboy?

There will be two books that cover all of the characters from the DC universe so I'm sure that Superboy will be in there and give you an idea of what Superman's strength would be at that time. If you can't wait then I suggest somewhere between 22-25.

Wolfram/Alpha

This is perhaps the best site around for conversion information. Also it has tons of Easter eggs. Just type in 88MPH and see what you get.

I recently converted all my RPGs measures into the FFF system, just to mess up with my players, who complained a bit too often about the the hassle of keeping up with overland travel rates or encumbrance related book-keeping.

Had a good, nice session with them trying to shop for equipment in a extra-dimensional market.
