Armor special abilities bonuses

So when adding special abillities to armor, it says that the total bonus can't exceed +10 (enhancement bonus + special ability bonus). My question is that some of the special abilities say something like +3,750gp, etc. instead of listing a bonus. Do these types of special abilities just not count toward the +10 limit?

I believe that's correct. You can have armor with a +10 total bonus, with additional enchantments that simply have a flat cost, such as Energy Resistance or Glamered, etc.

Broven you are correct the GP only abilities do not count toward the +10 limit.

Also note that the enhancement bonus is limited to +5 max (the ability bonus can be as high as +9 - since you need a +1 enhancement bonus before you can add abilities.

I know in 3.5 there was a GP amount limit for abilities put on armors/magic items (not the money amounts for adding pluses), but I don’t know if that is in PF.

So then would a Leather Armor +1 with Light fortification be 2000gp or 4000gp? Since +1 bonus is only 1000gp, It would seem like it would only be 2000gp. Like Mistmail is +1 chain mail with a special ability that costs 2250gp.

No, it would be 4,000 GP.

You add the pluses first, then look at the price. So in this example, it would be +1 enhancement bonus (minimum needed for any abilities) and then +1 for the Light Fortification. With a total of +2. Then you look at +2, which is 4,000 GP. You don't add the price of +1 twice. You add the pluses and then look at the amount for those pluses.

They did not carry over the 200,000 GP limit on items to Pathfinder. It was very likely intentional as there are magic items in the book that cost over 200,000 gp and are not epic or an artifact.
