Winter worg for Cavalier half orc

I have a player who is asking me if they can have a Winter Worg for their Cavalier half Orc.

I am new to it and don't want ton say yes then find out later down the road.

What level? A winter worg is a CR 5 monster, so if it's 1st level cavalier then HELL no.

OR,....give him the worg, and let it maul the f*&% out of him to teach him not to ask for stuff he can't handle.

Sadly, medium-sized cavaliers are restricted to either Camels or Horses as mounts in Pathfinder Society, so there's no wiggle room.

This is the Pathfinder Society section Heathy, so there are specific rules that apply to this case that wouldn't in a home campaign.

Would the answer here change if he had chosen the "beast master" feat?

No... The main reason being it is a Magical Beast, and not a legal animal companion for PFS

Edit: did you mean Beast Rider Archetype? Because that was what my answer was for. Where is the beast master feat?

I think he meant the "Beast Rider" Feat, which is a Orc/Half-Orc Feat from the ARG. It lets you pick a elephant, pteranodon, rhinoceros, stegosaurus, or triceratops as your mount.

Also, I believe the only class that eventually allows you to take magical beasts as a mount is the Paladin, but not sure, and not really inclined to go look at the moment.

But even so, the Winter Worg is evil, and as such, wouldn't be allowable in PFS even if you could find something that allowed you to take a magical beast as a mount.
