Can you Ki Throw someone into the air and let them fall?

in any square you threaten rather than its own square. This movement does not provoke attacks of opportunity, and you cannot throw the creature into a space occupied by other creatures.

For instance if the creature with Ki throw is large and has lunge, it can attack a square 25 feet above the ground (10' tall and have 10' reach normally with +5' for lunge) Can the creature trip a creature then trip it into the 25 foot square above and adjacent to him and let him drop for 2d6 falling damage and landing prone next to him?

Ki Throw does not provoke AoO but would the falling from 25 feet provoke? The feat says the movement of the creatue into the threaten square does not provoke AoO but what about the creatures new movement of falling?

If the creature doing the ki throw has greater trip he would get a AoO for tripping the other creature and then one for it moving in a threatend square as if fell 20'?

Despite the name of the move, you're simply rendering them prone; the target goes from a standing position to a prone one, it just falls over.

If you want to be generous with this ability (which if you ask me is not intended with this ability), you cold have a large creature send them to a square 25' up, and the target would indeed take falling damage, but there would still be no AoO because the falling is still part of the movement triggered by the throw.

As I see it yes. You threaten squares in 3 dimensions not on a simple 2 dimensional grid. So you can indeed throw an opponent above or diagonal above you.

Nope, the feat states that you get to move it from the square it is in, to another square that you threaten and it is prone in this new square.

Personally, I am mixed on if I would allow it to toss someone 25' up.

I can see the fun of it, and I can't see (at least right now) any way that pitching them 25' up and letting them fall would break the game (since there is a good chance that you could do more damage than that by just hitting them). But I would also allow this to happen with the combat maneuver "reposition" with a high enough roll. You would be picking them up, holding them out and dropping them. I would even allow an acrobatics check from the target in that case to remain standing.

The biggest problem with this is that many of the rules are built for 2d combat and not 3d. Which causes some interesting things from time to time.
