Can it be done? The text of the spell mentions objects only. This leads me to believe that creatures cannot be the target of this spell. My party was attempting to smuggle warriors into a restricted area by using this tactic. :(

Huh...don't know what happened there. I made a thread and I see nothing here.

Anyway, what is the ruling on using this spell on creatures? The text of the spell says objects, which leads me to believe that a creature on the cloth would cause the spell to fizzle. What does everyone else think?

Well, since you are targeting the objects themselves the creature would be unaffected along with the spell as it never interacts with said creature.

A flesh to stone would work to make the warrior into an object, as long as you have a stone to flesh to bring him/her back :)
