Hey people I'm making a character for DM willpowers waterworld He's a half firbolg reaver that worshiped Odin before we got sent through the portals will says that the end of that world looked a lot like Ragnarok so I have every thing else fleshed out but I can't figure out how Finn feels about the end of the world as here he is a might Berserker Reaver but as far as he knows he's the only one left what might he think about this rejection from Vahalla is because he's part giant is it because its wasn't "really" the end of the world any ideas would help please and thank you all

Taking a quick glance at the game he's running, I would imagine that your character (Finn?) is cut off from his world via the portals and the old gods are not there. From a berzerker standpoint (guessing Int isn't his prime stat) he needs to get back to his world so the Valkyries can find him. They must be looking all over for him, considering his obvious skill in battle. He just needs to get one of them whizzers to wave his arms at the door back to the old world, as there's bound to be a flagon of mead waiting for him at Odin's table.

Acutally he is fairly smart oddly (read I have trouble playing mighty thews and no brains) thing is this new world looks like what the world should look like if traped in the middle of the post ragnarok renewal that's why I'm not sure how to take this as to try to go "home" or "fix" this world or ride it out
Thank you for your input it did give me and idea or two now if I can just get more people to chime in

In Norse mythology, Ragnarök "final destiny of the gods" is a series of future events, including a great battle foretold to ultimately result in the death of a number of major figures (including the gods Odin, Thor, Týr, Freyr, Heimdall, and the jötunn Loki), the occurrence of various natural disasters, and the subsequent submersion of the world in water. Afterward, the world will resurface anew and fertile, the surviving and reborn gods will meet, and the world will be repopulated by two human survivors. Ragnarök is an important event in the Norse canon, and has been the subject of scholarly discourse and theory.
So with that being said, the final battle (in his mind's eye) has finished (he missed the final showdown) and the world has sunk, yet to rise again. So his primary goals and motivations would be to "find" which gods have survived to join with them (perhaps himself being granted Godhood) and to locate the two human survivors destined to repopulate the world and to protect them at all costs.
And THAT could provide his motivation for THIS scene. . .

Or having missed it/not been gathered by the Valkyries feel that he must not have lived up to the standard and feel the need to perfect his fighting, even fight more to prove his great battle prowess.
In the other direction, slip into a eeyore style of depression as what does it matter anymore, he missed it and now it's too late, loss of purpose.
