How many feats does a character get?
Brand new to Pathfinder, but overall familiar with the parent system. I’m *assuming* a base feat at 1st level, then at 4th, then every 4 levels thereafter (with class-specific bonus feats on top of that), but can find nothing to confirm that in the rules.
Can someone point me to the confirmation text, or correct my assumption?

One feat at every odd level. Certain races and classes will give bonus feats on top of those gained through normal level advancement, and the class/race will say at what point/what feat they gain.

I'm curious about something (the actual question has already been answered) you assumed that it was 1st, 4th and every 4 after that, why? In 3.x is was 1st, 3rd and every 3. Just seems like an odd comment.

Ahh that’s the stuff, thanks guys! Not only the chart, but also answered the nagging question about whether the favored class benefit applied at level 1! And additional thanks for pointing it out in the book. For the life of me, I just couldn’t find it in there.
