The school week is almost done and although I have a ton of correcting to do already I thought I better get over here and announce a couple of products.
First is the Monster Update Subscription . In this project scheduled as a year long venture, Stefen and I will convert your favourite OGC monsters to the Pathfinder Ruleset. Each subscriber gets 5 choices of their own and access to all the other monsters already picked. We have a limit of 50 subscriptions for this and I think there are 40 left.
Secondly is Legendary Blade which was released yesterday and has received a 5 star review already. In this release, Stefen and I have created 16 magical blades that will grow with your character.
Thank you for considering us.
I think I have a Grand OGL Wiki to update and a DM Sketchpad to write tonight so I better get back to work.

I have a question about this.
So, you're thinking that if you have 50 subscribers and 5 creatures apiece, you'll ultimately come up with 250 creatures?
Are you simply doing stat builds or does it come along with narrative fluff? And finally, will each creature be accompanied with its own artwork?
EDIT: Okay, I see that you'll have proceeds to go toward artwork. So the fluff is the question I have remaining.
Thanks!

People should jump on this. Mark and Stefen co-wrote Tricky Owlbear's upcoming monster book which gave them plenty of experience converting creatures and also a healthy appreciation for precision while doing so.

The proceeds of the final compilation will go to slowly stocking it with at. If we have 50 subscribers then there will be actually more than 250 monsters because if people signed up before September 1st they got to pick 7 monsters and I've also given staff reviewers a number of monster choices. So with 50 subs, we should actually be close to 300 monsters.
Stefen and I will be providing ecology and narrative information wherever it is needed. Some narrative material is OGC but we may still tamper with it.
I'll be sending out drafts at least once a month to solicit feedback from customers as well.

Question and comment.
You going to be selling your stuff here on paizo as well?
Thanks for the Legendary Blades PDF copy. I will give it a read this week and post a review up at ENworld, RPGNow and in this thread if you don't have it for sale at paizo by then.

I believe we are exclusive with Rpgnow for a year. After that point we may consider other venues including Paizo.
Personally I buy a lot of my material at Rpgnow and Paizo (as I'm a multiple subscriber - though my tag line doesn't say so, sob.)
Thanks for your consideration.

For five bucks ... for twelve months? I think I can manage this. =)

I liked the weapons of legacy. I looked it over. Have not had time to give it a indepth read yet. But I would say anyone that likes legacy weapons aka weapons that grow in power with the PC, then they will like this product.
So any plans to do another book? Maybe go a bit more adventurous with the powers?

Yes. We are planning a second release. We are working on something else right now and the monster update subscription so it will probably be October before the next "Legendary" product comes out. If you have particular suggestions or wants drop me a line and I'll add them to the working doc and it will be include on the Feedback page.

Not sure if you know about the Witchfire from the same adventure series by privateer press or not. But it was a sword, while not legacy it could have been. It had some powers that where not run of the mill, I guess you could say. I am just using that as a example.
A example, on command the weapon glows blue and if swung around in front of the user it could cast color spray or something.
or
Shadowblade, x number of times per day. Can step into a shadow and emerge out of another shadow with in 50 ft.
etc, i would like to see more stuff like that. As some examples at 10ish am in the morning. :)

*L* I got a email and was flattered and amused by it. The rest of you will have to wait till Mark shares what it contained. :)
Though I did have a question about the product and i email you Mark. Since I finished reading it and was writing my review. Before I post my review here, at ENworld and at RPGNow i want to get a answer first.

My review of the product since it is not for sale on Paizo I am posting it here.
rating: *****
Legendary Blades by Purple Duck Games
This product is 42 pages long. Opening page is ToC followed by a introduction page. (2 pages)
Next it jumps into the legendary weapons. There is 16 weapons, all of them have 2 pages of information about them. Each has roughly half a page of history, a table and the rest taken up with the weapons special abilities. Each weapon has 10 “powers”, you can get the first one at any time. The next one can be acquired at 4th and every 2 levels afterwards. (32 pages)
All the swords(one is a dagger) are theme based. Weather it be winter themed, leading men, sun/undead slaying etc. The dagger is summoner themed for the new APG class.
Alieywishia, Orc Scourge
Asterion’s Soul
Counter
Crusader’s Sword
Diamond’s Edge
Ebon Whispers
Endless Winter
Gladiator’s Response
Guardian
Lion of Iskander
Mitra’s Blade
Moon’s Vengeance
The Red King’s Judgement
Sandman’s Blade
Sorrow
Summoner’s Tool
Next it gets into a page of alignment templates for creatures and a new combat maneuver Parry. Next there is 3 new feats.
Bull Rush Strike
Greater Parry
Improved Parry
Followed by some new spells. (3 pages for all this and above)
Awaken Dead 1
Freezing Fog – Like Fog Cloud only does cold dmg and causes ice to form. (I like it)
Magic Hat – creates a bag of holding like effect in a hat.
It closes with a page of feedback information and 4 pages of OGL.
Closing thoughts. For the price of 3 bucks for the sheer size of the product this is a good buy. The weapons are well done and most of them have good fluff history that could be fairly easy to adapt to any setting. My only critics is I would have liked for them to push the envelope with the weapons a bit more. Adding more unusual weapon abilities. That and the product while good could have used a little more polish. I expect nothing but good products for the price from this company if this book is any indication and I expect they will steadily get better. Of which I can not wait to see whats next. So for the price and content I am giving this a 5 star review. You won't be sorry about picking this up, if weapons that increase in power with your character interest you even in the slightest.

I believe we are exclusive with Rpgnow for a year. After that point we may consider other venues including Paizo.
When you get to that point, you may want to keep in mind that Paizo pays a higher percentage to the publisher for each PDF than RPGNow; if you do the math, you'll find that even if you only sell $6.67 worth of product on paizo.com for every $100 you sell on RPGNow, you'll make up the difference between their exclusive and non-exclusive contracts. And that shouldn't be that difficult, especially for Pathfinder RPG-compatible products.
In short, there's no good reason not to sell both places.
