I bet this has been mentioned before, but would it be possible to ship out the super subscriber subscription orders first? Since we are getting everything you guys put out, us getting the PDFs early might be nice… just saying…
Our subscription processing is, by necessity, optimized towards getting the most people fulfilled as quickly as possible, and that means groupings based on similar contents, shipping methods, and destinations.
For example, if we have 50 guys who order the same exact set of books, and one guy who has the same set of books plus a mini, we can automate the 50 guys to some degree, while the one guy has to be handled manually, and his order will likely take longer to be fulfilled. However, wherever possible, we do factor in stuff like your subscriber status and the amount of money you've spent with us; in the example above, out of those 50 guys, the superscribers among them would be handled towards the front of the pack.
I should note that if the couple of days between the start of sub fulfillment and the end of sub fulfillment is really, really painful for you, you might want to avoid using your sidecart, as those sidecart items are what tend to make a person's order different from everyone else's. (Of course, using the sidecart is usually a good way to save on postage, so—as with many things—it's a tradeoff between savings and speed.)
