I was just looking for some cool spell combos/tricks when I came up with the below idea. I just wanted to check with you guys to see if it were actually possible.
Cast explosive runes on thousands of pieces of paper that are small enough to float on the wind, but big enough to be easily read. Put the confetti into a big bag. Climb the tallest building in an enemy city. Dump the bag into the city streets below and watch as it drifts all over the damn place.
The confetti being so light, much of it will likely get tossed about as the explosions begin to start rather than be destroyed in the blasts.
Have you ever tried to not read something when it was literally raining down all around you?
It will probably look and sound something like this.
I can just imagine a poor sap getting blown up and surviving only to find that he's landed face down in a pile of the deadly confetti.
I feel especially sorry for the cleaning crew.
