Is Psionics Coming Soon?

Been noticing a whole lot of psionics threads lately. Did Paizo release some details or hint at a release date for psionics in Pathfinder?

Yes, that it won't be out at least until after 2012 or so.

Dreamscarred Press, a 3pp, is working on psionics rules. I think there certainly is demand for psionics (though I still think they should be renamed 'mysticism') and as long as they fix the multiple mechanics problems (such as get rid of power points - which Paizo has said they want to do), I'd be interested in them myself.
