Just wondering what wicked combos people have for spells? I'll kick things off with my 2 faves. I allow 3.5 spells but for those that don't i'll put a note on 3.5 combos.
3.5Druid: Entangle; Briar Web; Plant Growth. Opponents have to make a Strength or Escape Artist check to move, if they try they take damage, if they succeed they can only move 5 ft.
Sorc/Wizard: Wall of Fire; Wall of Force. Shape both walls into rings, they burn and die. hilarity ensues.

Pit Trap has so many options now it's amazing.
Drop a spiked pit.
Use your level 7 evoker power to summon up a circle of flame surrounding the trap pointing inward. Their climb speed out of the pit will force them to either stand in the flames (not good) or wait one round and force another climb check while they're taking the heat damage.
For added fun summon up an aqueous orb and drive more people into the pit.

Wall of force doesn't come in rings.. perhaps you'd rather try forcecage?

Maybe not, but you can shape the area into a sphere. You've got 9 10ft squares to play with. The only restriction is the wall must be continuous and unbroken when formed. If its surface is broken by any object or creature, the spell fails.

Pit trap/Wall of stone
When the trap ends they are forced up into the wall and are crushed. For extra fun put a little hole in the wall to extrude them out.
Not my idea originally.
I think that I was the first to post this idea. At least I hadn't seen it when I posted it. Regardless I love seeing it repeated :D

I'm gonna have to go with a common one, and Lullaby/Sleep. Yes, it's set up to be a 1,2 combo, but at lower levels, man, that's sometimes the trick you need.
Problem is with the save on lullaby.
Although, if you chuck it as an AoE, and have a way to determine who was affected by the lullaby...

And this is the reason why my first priority in every campaign is to craft boots of levitation. Well, it was a priority before, but now more than ever. =p
