It was set up before GenCon with the intent being that there'd be a decent amount of flagged messageboard threads to go through and address in the following weeks. So, how's that going? When and where might we find the official answers?
They quietly implemented the FAQ system it appears. On select product pages (such as the APG) there is now a FAQ tab with any answered questions. For example this

Hm. Very quietly it seems. Oddly, the FAQ tab is missing from this other APG product page. Seems there should be a way to include links to the various product FAQ pages from the site's main FAQ page. That's where I, and most people I'd imagine, would initially try looking for them.
Anyway, I like what I see so far and I hope to see more FAQ answers soon. Keep em coming. =)

Given how much everyone was begging for such an FAQ section, it IS odd that this happened so stealthily.
There are also FAQ tabs now for the Core book. the Bestiary and the Gamemasters Guide, although there are not too many actual questions/answers yet.
My guess is that they are rolling it slowly and quietly in order to make sure they squash any bugs or problems. Once everything is in place and working as intended, I'll bet there will be a pretty hard to miss post on the home page (there may even be trumpets accompanying the post!)

I was kind of expecting that there would be a way to see outstanding / unanswered FAQ issues, but AFAICT currently we only see the few FAQ questions ANSWERED under their respective products. I.e. some things marked FAQ may be marked `not an error` or whatever, but I guess you have to see that specific post to see that... And of course, a post marked for FAQ may well not be the first post in a thread, or that thread may not be dedicated to that specific issue.
I think that being able to see all the issues outstanding (say, in the tens of pages of posts in the Core Rules Errata thread) and Paizo`s stance on them (not an error, to be addressed via FAQ, to be addressed via Errata, addressed via FAQ, addressed via Errata) would provide alot of clarity on the process... Which so far has seen alot of effort on reader`s part to identify Errata, but little feed-back from Paizo addressing them (beyond the minor Errata Updates so far, and the minor amount of issues addressed in the current Product FAQ pages). I suppose that being able to see the `FAQ Rank` of these issues would also provide more transparency into the process (I expect Paizo might want to bump up the rank of certain FAQ issues, i.e. old ones that aren`t actively being reported anymore but are serious, etc), and practically speaking might provide some clue as to what issues to expect to be Errata`d sooner rather than later.

One, we're really busy, Gen Con ate a week of time we could use for working and we're trying to get caught up again.
Two, posts with one question are a LOT easier to answer than posts with multiple questions. We usually end up rewording the question for clarity, and then answering that, and multiple questions means we really ought to post separate FAQ responses for each, which means we need to save all of the other questions in a post and repeat the admin-clicking procedure....
Three, Jason's also trying to get some Ultimate Magic stuff ready for playtesting before he leaves for a convention this weekend.
So jumping on pending FAQ stuff is taking a back seat for the moment.

Sean, going forward, would it be easier if when we posted errata/FAQ type questions that we limit each post to a single question? If we have multiple questions we could make multiple posts if that would make it easier on working on the official FAQ.

Would it be possible to have a rules/FAQ link related to game questions (not shipping) on the front page of the website?
I just found out about the FAQ listings under each book - and I think it's a great spot to place them but I would love to see them linked (TO DEATH!!!) somewhere on the front page.
Maybe a page that would have a cross-indexed list of links by subject and/or by book, just for those who may not know which product an exact issue is dealt with.
Or am I just not seeing the direct FAQ link?
