Who should we hire to freelance write for LPJ Design?

Is this a real poll...you've really got all of those people in line ready to write for you? If so, wow. If not, why the poll?

I voted, but I am as currious as mearrin69. If someone gets an overwhelming majority, will we see their name on a LPJ product?

Some of these people HAVE written for us already (Owen, Neil, Greg and Louis) while the remaining people have not. I am just wondering, who would people like to read their work at LPJ Design?

I find it highly doubtful that Sean K. Reynolds or Jason would consider freelancing for anyone as they seem to have full time jobs at the moment lol

Actually, Jason said in a Facebook post he was doing some freelance. So....

Well all I can say is... good luck with that lol

Well, if it's purely speculative, then how about Stephen King? I'd really like to run an adventure written by King. I like Vaughan and Logue and the others but King would whip their butts with scary.

Most freelancers have a full-time job. The alternative is malnutrition. :)

Very much this! :)

The freelancing $ is a bonus to be used for whatever, like some of my GenCon expenses, buying a cow with my girlfriend (to be turned into tasty meat tommorow), artwork commissioned for my home campaign(s), and a very nice bottle of scotch. It's fun money to me, with my overworked and underpaid day job paying the mortgage and bills.

Amen to that, although I got a Paizo check recently that was for a couple of BIG projects that was as big as several of my regular paychecks put together. If you're doing a lot of freelance it can be substantial, but it'd be pretty hard to make a living at it.

Yep, me too! Well, not the cow part, that is, since I'm a vegetarian but ...

I tend to use my freelance pay to fund my gaming purchases. It's kind of like the freelancer's circle of life ;)

Hakuna Matana my brother!

I buy a lot of gaming material with my freelance money, but I mainly blow it on stuff I wouldn't normally be able to justify spending that much money on. Or just to share with my friends, like buying everyone's drinks on a particular night out.

I have indeed written for LMPjr, though not recently. And I got exactly what was agreed upon, exactly when it was agreed upon, so I have no complaints.

While a lot of freelancers have other employment, not all do. I know of several, myself included, who are full-time freelance (though some of us have agreements to freelance a given amount for a given company). I've survived as a full-time freelancer for most of the past decade, with a brief stint at WotC, and another working for a bank, both approximately a year long.

While I don't know that LMPjr can get whoever wins the poll, most freelancers can be woo'd if the money is right. And if he wanted to spend that kind of money, I can see wanting some feedback on who'd be worth it.

This is kind of, I know people are VERY busy working, but I want to know who fans really enjoy reading. If the fans like that person, than I need to talk to them about work. The will of the fans is a POWERFUL motivator.

With only a few days left in this poll, it looks like Louis Agresta is the man to beat. Will he be able to pull it out? We will see...
