The people who are supposed to click know who they are (everyone else, please leave). This is where my gaming group can chat, organize play-by-posts (even Rifts if T. K. is up for it), or ask questions about Pathfinder or the website.

This... is starting to creepily resemble our actual gaming sessions.
I'll post a link on me and Luthien's game so she'll get over here, but I'm still not sure if T. K. has an account. Ah well, I'll remind him the next time he comes over.

Luthien:
I just wanna make sure you're confident roleplaying a possibly romantic situation in the Arainu game.

I want to make a campaign world for our games; a fleshed-out place for your characters to explore, with it's own societies and history. While I'll do a lot of it on my own as DM (if no one objects), any ideas about the general feel of it?

Some examples;
-Verging on gothic, with vampires and lots of dark and ancient secrets.
-More modern, with some primitive guns and Indiana Jones-like quests to uncover ancient relics from savage jungles.
-High medieval, chock full of knights and damsels in distress.
-More mythological, with mystic oracles supplying the next quest and paralells to our own wolrd history.
-A mixture of the above, or something entirely diferent.

Might I inquire as to whether you have seen anything of the "Iron Kingdoms" setting?

Also perhaps your thoughts on the setting if you have seen it?

I haven't, actually. I only have practical knowledge of Golarion, Dragonlance, and Forgotten Realms.

No worries. It was just you were asking about the primitive guns and such. I have found Privateer Press' works to be a nice version of the 'Steam Punk' setting. The guns and how they work are nicely ballanced and do not over shadow some one who wants to swing a sword.

Also, you kind of have me at an advantage. My only experience with Forgotten realms have been the 'splat' books I've bought for their neat content and such. I don't think I've even played anything from Dragonlance....

Well, here's to our common ground of Golarion then! =)

Actually, I've never played anything in a pre-existing campaign setting. I only know about Golarion, FR and Dragonlance through novels.

For now. But Cole might (probably will) eventually gather enough courage to flirt with your character, as an aspect of roleplaying. Since the paizo community is mainly made up of adults (some were shocked to learn I'm thirteen), and it's online with made-up characters, and completely anonymous, it's not being creepy, it's just playing the game.

xp this is slightly awkward.
So, if the character Cole does gather enough courage to flirt with your character, and/or falls in love with her, you have the options of;
-roleplaying that your character is completely uninterested.
-going along with it, since it's just a game and you're an anonymous entity on the internet anyway (treating it like you treated you're character's interest in Gyldyr in our first D&D games, if you want).
-have me post that the game (The Treasure of Arainu) has a very low maturity level and that flirting, even in-character, is pushing it.
I just want this resolved now to save me and/or you embrassament.
