Thanks for the response, KaeYoss. That's kinda what i thought, just couldn't find the RAW. Is there any RAW on this, or has this been stated officially at all btw? Or is it because it doesn't say that you don't threaten when provided with cover?

Yes, you threaten, even with cover. Note, though, that you don't threaten anyone with cover, and if you have cover, a lot of the time the enemy does so, too.
This is incorrect.
A character threatens every square he can make a melee attack into with an armed weapon.
A character no longer threatens a square when he can no longer make an armed attack into that square. Such as when the character is dazed, stunned, helpless, etc.
Since a character can make a melee attack against a creature in a position with cover, he threatens that square.
I believe KaeYoss is confusing threatening with being able to make an attack of oppertunity.
