Other places to check are the following Meetup groups:
http://www.torontoareagamers.com/
Toronto D&D Meetup
I think I've seen Pathfinder games posted on both groups at some point. In fact, I think this guy may be looking for players as we speak:

(I live in North York, BTW.)

Great, thanks for the info, is the D&D/PF scene big in Toronto?

Usually PFS play on Wednesday nights, and an alternating Darkmoon Vale / Council of Thieves game on Thursdays.
Also a Kingmaker game on Thursdays, but I think that it is invitation only.
FLGS site.
You should probably confirm space before coming from out of town.

I'm in Toronto, but I'm afraid I don't have any room in my current groups. Have you tried the TRPA?
Seems like the message board for the TRPA is on life support ;).

I have to admit, I haven't checked out the TRPA in ages, although their message boards were never particularly active. The best option with the TRPA is to go to one of their socials. The socials are open to anyone who wants to attend (you don't need to be a member). You can generally meet other people there who are looking to join a group. When I first moved to Toronto several years ago, I was able to put a group together this way. Word of warning though: Assuming things haven't changed, you'll have to sift through all the Magic: The Gathering players to find the rpg players.

Likewise, the two Meetup groups I linked to also have monthly socials, although I think the TAG one charges $2 or something like that.
I think TAG is more active than the Toronto D&D group, but it caters to a wider cross-section of gamers (boardgamers, indie RPG players, etc.).

I'll be moving to Toronto from Ireland early next year, I'll be definitely looking for players then, I can play or DM.
I just noticed you looking for gamers in Ottawa, so I assume plans have changed! If you end up in our area in a few months, let me know and we'll see if we can't get something hooked up!

Hi Nic,
thanks for your response.
Our plan is to spend a few months in Ottawa, as my girlfriend will be doing research there, before moving to Toronto in June/July for the long run. I'd definitely love to meet when I'm finally there - can't wait by the way.
I really appreciate you taking the time to reply, thanks a mil :)
