In yesterday's mod I broke my +1 Keen Adamantine scimitar. In the Pathfinder guide it lists 1 CPA to cast a "Make Whole" spell(Table 11-1, Pg 25) but also says that all spellcasting purchased using CPA is cast a minimum caster level (also pg 25). To repair this sword it would require the services of a 20th level caster. What is the best way to handle this?

Pay gold as per the Spell Casting services section?

First, does your sword have the broken condition or the destroyed condition? Is it as 0 hit point or less? If it is, then you need the Make Whole spell caster to be level 20. If this is the case, it will be easier to just buy another of the same sword instead.
However, if it still has hit points and is only broken, then you only need a 10th level caster for Make Whole. Plus, if you look at Table 8-1, the gold cost for Make Whole is only 60gp. I do not see anything in the Guide that says this cost goes up with a higher minimum caster level. The only thing in there is that the limit on spell casting available for purchase is 7th level, which is 13th level for a cleric or wizard. Based on those two things, I would say you could pay the 60 gold for Make Whole to be cast, so long as the caster level required is not higher than 13. So if your sword is only broken and not destroyed, then fixing it is no problem. If it is destroyed, you can still get the 10th level caster to fix it, but it will no longer be magical and you would have to pay for the enchanting services again to make it +1 and Keen.

OK,
I read through the make whole spell but didn't look at the mending spell that make whole references to repair broken not destroyed items. My sword is only broken so I don't need a 20th level caster, only a 10th level caster. As to the cost, on the page with table 8-1 it says that you need to use the table on pg 159 of the core rulebook which lists the cost of spell casting as (Caster level X Spell level X 10gp) which in this case would be 200gp. But my original question was about the possibility of using my prestige points to repair my sword.
