Actually, the fact that you are aware of and have drawn the readers attention to the fact makes it not hypocrisy but something very close to dramatic irony. Likewise the use of notionally insulting terms in a thread about respect. Literary device, nice work.
How come when I do it, I just get flagged?

And yes I realise the hypocrisy of starting my thread heading with OMG WTF........
I wasn't 100% sure if it was irony or not, hypocrisy (something that I am good at) seemed a safe bet.

That is a very good reason... I think I will flag him from now on.

Irony and hypocrisy are two frequently mis-used words (not least of all by me); chances are it was neither...

I, for one, thought he was going for irony. Of course, others have...difficulty...with irony.

Your assumptions that the person voicing their opinion is a powergaming munchkin is a bit asinine. Your right that they should have a nicer thread title is correct, however.Yeh it is a bit asinine, but I am snippy, mean, a little grumpy and a lot shallow. So if it ticks somebody off because I equated their poor manners with my image of them being some 12 year old Warhammer playing cheese lord then boo-hoo for them.
+1. Bravo. *golf clap* Of course, a certain someone calling anyone asinine is laughable beyond comprehension.
And I quote: "Wow, there are a lot of fat people here."
ROFPMSL
None can deny the truth of that statement.
The word "asinine" means "extremely or utterly foolish". Not "untrue". Publicly posting that you think a group of people are fat on the forum of the company hosting the group you are insulting is asinine.
Unless you were agreeing that your statement was asinine, in which case, carry on.
Seriously guy, pick a fight you can win.
Having gotten the last word, Jared stopped posting.
Aw crap, now he has to post again.
It's the interwebz. "Last word" is usually the last word of however "this thread is shut down" is worded.

Looks like I should have added WHAT THE HELL to my thread title.... bummer
I think that adding that to the title is a good idea. I wonder if, by flagging this post I am making, I can convince Ross to add that to the title.
Have some fun Ross. Add "WHAT THE HELL" to the thread title. You deserve it for putting up with us.
I think this post should be flagged.

I don't know about you if but if either of my children said "what the f##%" to anybody they would be sent to their room and their favourite toy would go up on the shelf for a month.

What is wrong with you douchebags. In my country "What the Hell" is a polite greeting whereby we are inquiring about the health of your firstborn. You idiots are culturally insensitive to the manor of greeting common in my nation.

It's all good. I'm convinced that, one day, the Airforce and Navy will combine their expertise and technology to create Earth's first space-based battle fleet. So, we're like future brothers.

That is one of our secret weapons - the beer changes the density of the water. A ship caught in the density differential will sink and all the sailors on-board will drown happy.
There is no problem that can not be solved with the application of more beer.
