Hello all,
I'm an older gamer looking for a group in the far reaches above Baltimore known as Harford county. I'm interested in Pathfinder/ 3.5 to 1e AD&D but am familiar with older versions of V:tm WoD stuff, Shadowrun, even Robotech and Mechwarrior RPGs. I haven't been gaming tabletop in a few years and am a bit rusty but while the beard has gone gray there's more then a bit of life left in this gamer. If you don't mind driving to Frederick my group will be starting a new Pathfinder campaign in a few weeks. We play one Saturday a month from about 10 am until we feel like stopping. The players are mid 30's to 40.
When do yo think you guys would be starting this up?
Holy crap, I never thought I'd see the words "Harford County" on a message board. Shame the Strategic Castle closed many years ago.
Not in Harford County any more (used to write for the Aegis ages ago; now I realize that probably lowers any esteem you might have had for me, but ah well), but wanted to say hi. Good luck finding a game!
There's not one going on right now that I am aware of, but you might check out Legends in Towson and Alternate Worlds in Cockeysville and see what's going on there. Actually, I know not much is going on at Legends because they're going to move to Joppa Road... but they should have their next major RPG event the second Saturday of December, after they've moved. Still a bit of a drive for you, but something to keep an eye out for.
Wasn't able to do anything this week sorry, GF had to evac from NC in the middle of her vacation due to Hurricane Earl. She got back late friday and we've been in recovery mode since. I'd be interested in doing something soon but the time this week was shot.

If you are interested in joining our game you still have time. Not everyone made it Saturday to make characters. So far we have:
Halfling Ranger- archery style
Human Sorcerer - Copper dragon bloodline
Human Fighter - two weapon swashbuckler
Elf Rogue - scout
one undecided - may be a cleric
Our campaign will be set in the Forgotten Realms and we will begin in Cormyr. If you want to know more we have a yahoo groups site. The group name is Laughingdragon.
Thanks but now I have conflicts out the wazoo. One minute bored the next no time for oneself. Saurdaysare now out for me as I'm going to be spending them house shopping in VA.
