I have a couple of questions regarding the Eidolon Breath Attack:
1- Can it be improved by the Improved Damage Evolution bumping it up to d8/HD?
2- Do you get an extra d6 if you have the Energy Attack evolution which grants 1d6 energy damage on all attacks?
3- Can the breath weapon be used in conjunction with pounce/all other primary attacks?

I say no to 1 and 2 but I'm not sure on 3
1) Breath weapons are not natural attacks.
Improved Damage (Ex): One of the eidolon’s natural
attacks is particularly deadly. Select one natural attack
form and increase the damage die type by one step. This
evolution can be selected more than once. Its effects do
not stack. Each time an eidolon selects this evolution, it
applies to a different natural attack.
2) same as 1
Energy Attacks (Su): An eidolon’s attacks become charged
with energy. Pick one energy type: acid, cold, electricity,
or fire. All of the eidolon’s natural attacks deal 1d6 points
of energy damage of the chosen type on a successful hit.
The summoner must be at least 5th level before selecting
this evolution.
3) Not sure.
This is just my interpretation of the rules and someoine else will probably clear this up for you.

1. No. Improved Damage can be added to one of the natural attacks of the Eidolon. Natural attacks are basically limbs that the creature can use to make attacks, such as a claw, bite or tail attack. A breath weapon is a special attack, not a natural attack.
2. No. Energy Attacks also only apply to natural attacks.
3. No. The breath weapon requires a standard action to use, and can thus not be combined with regular attacks or full attacks. You can ask your DM if you can take the Quicken Breath feat from 3.5, which allows a breath weapon to be used as a swift action.
