i've experienced them, too. refreshing sometimes helps. however, logging out, then back in, seems the best way to resolve the issue ^_^

Someone's messin' w/ me, b/c now there's a different issue. You know how you look in a thread, and come back to it later, and it tells you to the side how many new posts have been made since last you looked in? That's not happening right now.

I'll blame Cyber Pugwampis for now and see how things look tomorrow.

The dots and the x new posts is run on a different server (if I remember what Gary has said before) and sometimes they hiccup or need to be restarted and it causes the dots to disappear. They start coming back slowly, but they usually all come back.

All signs are Gary went on some king of rampage today. I'm lying low for a couple of days.

Heh. Yesterday was fun but I didn't touch the dots or "x new" server. Getting the dots and x new information is a lower priority than generating the page itself, so if the dot isn't ready by the time your webpage request has been responded to we omit the dot. The process of getting the dot continues behind the scenes, though, so the dot will usually be there the next time you load a particular page.
