What action does it take to transform a transformative weapon, if any?

If it is a non-action, then can I change it in between the attacks in a full-attack sequence? If so, that would be really cool. Stab one guy with a longsword, spin around and trip another guy with a flail, and then pull the arm back and hurl a trident at another guy 10 feet away.

Usually activating a weapon ability is a standard action, so I would go with that unless specifically noted.
