Birthmark: You were born with a strange birthmark that looks very similar to the holy symbol of the god you chose to worship later in life. This birthmark can serve you as a divine focus for casting spells, and as a physical manifestation of your faith, it increases your devotion to your god—you gain a +2 trait bonus on all saving throws
against charm and compulsion effects as a result.
It says a divine focus does this count for channel energy also it says you need a holy symbol?

Divine focus = holy symbol, at least IMO. You use the same implement to cast spells and channel energy in all other cases.

Just be careful where the birthmark is on the body. After all, if you were using some spell or power that required you to touch the target with your holy symbol, or even just show it, you would not want your character to always be having to drop his pants to moon or sit on the enemy. :D
He is taking Warrior Of the Holy Light so he only needs it for his Channel Energy

A chaotic cleric might want to moon his adversaries.
This might sorta tie in with the "taunt" thread on another message board.
