The Guide Says: Moo wrote:All playtest versions of the six new base classes from this book are no longer legal for play as of 8/3/10. Anyone playing the playtest version of one of the six new base classes, must update their character as of 8/3/10. Updating your character means adjust the things that have changed, but not rebuilding the character. So officially, no, you may not change mysteries.
I beg to disagree, the mysteries have changed in the APG. So adjusting things for the mystery changes is fine, but rebuilding, say out of Oracle is prohibited.

I think MisterSlanky's point was that you can't change your Oracle's choice of mystery from Heavens, for example, to Life now that the latter is an additional option in the APG, and not that there weren't any changes made to the mysteries themselves.
(I haven't seen the APG yet; were there any additional mysteries besides Life?)

Yup. The point was that unlike the 3.5 rebuild, a full character rebuild is out, but minor changes to bring the character in-line with the APG are allowed.
Josh though just clarified that it does mean that you're allowed to make moderately major changes though, as long as you don't change classes (his example of changing mysteries).
I'm just happy my character gained enough experience to level *last* session, which means that I get to add 2nd level goodies from the APG.
