Okay, been tinkering with the campaign and have decided that I am really getting concerned with the Homebrew races I created here, especially some unbalanced choices.
So, following the chart ... wait, where the damn blue hell is VoodoMike's chart? Anyone remember the title of the thread? GAAAAAAAH!
Alright, while I'm trawling through some rather uncooperative forums looking for this very accurate, fun and non-munchkin method of creating 0+LA races, please consider the following as 'Races' for the Campaign in the link:
Skink-Kith: Dragon-descended Reptilian Humanoids: Quite physically powerful and with prodigious memories to match their long life-spans, but with an rather unusual appearance and a somewhat cold-blooded approach to life: +2 Str, +2 Wis, -2 Cha, Medium Size, Humanoid(Reptilian), Speed 30 feet, Climb 10 feet, Orision from the Sorcer/Wizard Spell list Charisma 3/Day, 1 Skill of their choice at character creation is a Class Skill, Low-Light Vision.
Hobgoblins: Martial-society built along the lines of the ancient Romans and the Spartans from '300': Arguably the most physically active and militant race in the home-brew, Hobgoblins retain their 3.5 descriptions. Hobs have +2 to Strength and +2 to Constitution but -2 to Charisma, being selectively bred over generations to be large and physically powerful but are broken mentally from childhood to follow commands from their commanders. Speed 30 feet, Weapon Proficiency with Shortspears, Short-Swords and Javelins, Darkvision 60 feet, Hatred (Elves) (as the Dwarven Hatred Racial ability) and +2 to saves against spells from arcane sources. Hobgoblins cannot take levels in Arcane Spellcasting Classes.
Goblins: Steppe-dwelling wolf-riders, part Hun, part Native American Indian: The smallest of the five races, the Goblins however have a deep tie to the Wolves that live in their Clans, able to speak to their 'Wild Kin' and are infamously talented as mounted raiders and skirmishers. Goblins appear as lithe, slender Humanoids who top out at 4 feet tall with long, wolf-like ears, yellow-to-grey skin and long, narrow faces with over-large eyes and sharp teeth. -2 Strength, +2 Dexterity, +2 Charisma, Darkvision 60 feet, a +2 Racial bonus to Survival and Ride, weapon proficiency with the Shortbow and Lance and the ability to Speak with Wolves as a permanent Speak with Animals spell. Goblins start out with a free Riding Dog (Wolf stats, will refuse to 'serve' any other creature except other Goblins) as an Animal Companion.
A Goblin's Wolf is bound to him by spiritual and social bonds, and a Goblin would sooner cut off his own arms than harm his Wolf, and vice-versa. A Goblin's Wolf companion advances as a Druid's Animal companion of 1/2 the Goblin's Character Level, including the Share Spells Special Ability. If the Goblin becomes a Wizard or Sorcerer, they do not gain the ability to summon a Familiar, and the Wolf gains 1 less HD every three levels. Goblin Witches ... I will have to think about this.
Humans as per their standard in the Core Rulebook.
The Deer-Folk ... I am going to have to think about. Perhaps a +2 Dex -2 Con +2 Wis race with Low-Light Vision, 40 feet base speed, +4 racial bonus to Acrobatics (Jump) checks and natural weapons (horns) doing 1d6, for starters.

I would make this cost a feat, at least(and if the pick up a class this could stack with, they add a bonus to their effective class level)

Mmmm, I was considering that, but Goblins otherwise seem to be somewhat lacking power-wise in comparison to the other races. Perhaps making this a Goblin-only feat, available at 1st level to the Goblin race and also appearing as a Fighter Bonus Feat, so the Goblins could pick up this ability asap. The Wolf won't be a particularly potent combat-monster with it's low HD and medium size, but the connection between Goblin and Wolf is played up considerably and could tie in to a few homebrewed PrCs.
At the same point ... I am worried I am hammering "live with wolves, talk with wolves, must have a wolf to be a Goblin!" stereotype too much with the race? What do you think?

I love goblins in most settings, but I know I probably wouldn't play one of these. When I play I hate having animals to worry about while adventuring (even familiars). They always seem to die fairly soon after the adventure starts.
On another note, I saved a copy of VoodooMike's race-building system. I could e-mail it to you if you wanted.

You mean the boards have completely devoured that thread? Damn, that is terrible! I'm ... uneasy about linking my email address given the password recovery system of these boards. I am sorry. I know 99.999999% of the people on these forums are completely above board, but my luck online has generally proven to me it's the 0.000001% remaining that will gleefully destroy me given less than half a chance.
And yes, I was a little concerned about the balance of the races, and forcing the Goblins to take a Wolf companion was something that frustrated me. Perhaps allowing them to 'speak' to Wolves, Dogs and the like is enough of a power boost, those that want to revel in their society can easily take the Wild Cohort Feat for a Riding Wolf while those that just want to escape and be themselves can make do with a Riding Dog as a mount and nothing else.

Aaaaaaaaaah ... <*Builds shrine of D20's and battered minatures in your honor*> it's not linking me to the thread, however... *cries bitter salty tears*
@Kierato: Yes, they're small and are otherwise rules-wise the same as their 3.5 incarnations. Just wanted to try and distance the Goblins from Paizo's 'comical and yet still lethally deranged' version. My apologies for not including that in the original post!
Edit: VoodoMike, finally managed to get the right thread! Thank you so much! *returns to building the shrine* for people interested, search for it in the the Archives under " PF RACE BUILDING GUIDE " in VoodoMike's page. Seriously, great guide mate, thank you so much for creating it!
