Hey, had an idea for a new forum, if you guys like i think it would be pretty successful.
I was thinking, a lot of threads start, either in General Discussion or Rules Questions - now in the Advice Forum, about possible character builds.
There are HEAPS of builds and combinations of classes that Pathfinders talk about, maybe we could put them all in one forum - Builds?
I know Paizo wants to encourage single class characters, and i like the idea of that as well. But even within a single class there are many different combinations. Think single class Fighter builds, for example.
Anyway, just a thought. What do you guys think?

I would personally love to see a DM/GM corner and limit the function of the forum to: Mod ideas, creature ideas, templates, mod reviews and advice, DM tools/tricks and Gamemaster theory - without player perspective or derails from players. DMs talking to other DMs about the trade.
To the Op: I think a combined location for builds (and probably feat or ability questions) would be a great idea.

I'm against on the basis that somebody might come here looking for some ROLE-PLAYING stuff and will bump into a "does my pimped Paladin 3/Bard 2/Eldritch Knight 3/Dragon Disciple 4/Shadowshark 5 build look sweet enough or do I need a few levels of Scarlet Pumpernickel from Complete Wacky to make it awesome ?"

I think if the forum is 100% CharOp then yeah, it will invite the types who like to ridicule others on how they built their PCs, but that would be the old way of setting up that kind of board.
You could have sections on character concepts, low, mid and high magic character ideas. Role-playing questions and character dev - it shouldn't be about plotting 4 classes +3 Prcs up to level 20 to get the best build. A player could go there and get ideas on how to pull off low-armor fighters, or what would be good equipment choices for a low magic game, etc.
It could also be a good place for people to post their various character guides. Personally I like the guides - not because I charop -I DM primarily, but because I get a glimpse into other campaign and play styles, why X spell is important in certain types of games and so on. Makes me look at spells and abilities as weak, moderate or flags something as overpowered (or not) and then what may need another look from the point of homebrew development.
