Advanced HD template same as Advanced template?

Some Stat Blocks have Advanced HD, like Fmughwa the Deathgorger from AP 29 (Advanced HD giant bombardier beetle).

Is this the same as the Advanced template?

When the stat block says "advanced HD ..." it means the monster has been created by using the "monster advancement by adding racial HD" rules in the Bestiary.
