I know you've said Standard Races only, but I was wondering if you'd allow an Aasimar from the Bestiary? I only ask because I've been toying with an Aasimar Paladin/Celestial Bloodline Sorcerer that I wouldn't mind giving a try.
I don't mind if you say no as I always have new concepts in mind, this one was just next on my list. :)

I have completed the crunch for Aldous Preklikin, my CG Gnomish Summoner. His primary purpose in life is to buff his pet combat monster, Uchendu, a four-armed, Large albino ape.
However, he also is a collector or knowledge (he is especially good at Arcana, History, Linguistics, and UMD, but 1 rank in a lot of other Knowledge skills).
Other than purchasing some mundane equipment, and formalizing his 'appearance', Aldous and Uchendu are ready to go :-)

Let's try it this way. Using the following table:

Level 1 : Your choice of Level 1 spells (3 + Int bonus)
Level 2 : Roll twice on the Minor column and choose spells from those levels
Level 3 : Two Level 2 spells of your choice
Level 4 : One choice of level 2 spell, and roll once on the Minor column and choose a spell from that level
Level 5 : Two Level 3 spells of your choice
Level 6 : Roll twice on the Medium column and choose spells from those levels
If you end up with a level 4 or 5 spell, you keep that as single-use scroll.

As Aldous is two size categories smaller than Uchendu, he can occupy Uchendu's squares without penalty; how do you feel about Aldous riding around in Uchendu's backpack - the idea of the master taking the 'familiar slot' has a certain appeal :-P

Hi, I'd like to delay the start of this game until the 22nd or 23rd of this month (next week.) I'm currently running three PBP games at once. Two in the middle of their last combat encounters and finish soon. Even then, I don't think I can handle four games at once.
I won't complain - I would prefer a happy, healthy, and unstressed GM :-)
It will also give Jelloarm time to submit his character.

Hi, I'd like to delay the start of this game until the 22nd or 23rd of this month (next week.) I'm currently running three PBP games at once. Two in the middle of their last combat encounters and finish soon. Even then, I don't think I can handle four games at once.
I'm just letting you know that I will be on holidays (Skiing) for about a week starting the 24th (through to probably the 1st). I am taking my laptop just in case, but I wouldn't hold my breath for the apartment we're staying in to have Wifi access.

As much as I'd like to defend my own valor, Aldous speaks the truth. A friend's been in town this week so my productivity on the PbP front is low - but I already have a druid half-created, so this'll be easy to finish.
Just clarifying, but... I was not taking a swipe at you - I assumed you were busy.
Heaven knows I would not want to start off the game on the wrong foot, as it were :-/

OK I am back, but no Internets was very painful, so even though I'm back I may still not be too talkative since I have to catch up on a huge amount of crap (PbPs, FB, e-mails, etc...). Oh and I also have to spend the next 2 days re-formatting my computer and getting it back up to scratch, so that's gonna put me out of the loop again as well.
I should have Internet again by tomorrow night (my Monday, USA Sunday night) so I can at least check in, but I have a lot of work to cram into the next two days, so sorry if I am a bit splotchy on contact 'til midweek. :)
