Alright gang. Staring at the computer screen for the past 6 hours and working on 3 16th level PC's has wiped me out. Night all and take care!

You might want to consider a small number of specialty arrows just in case.
Yep, cold iron or silver arrows, or weapon blanch of them (APG).

Actually, as Mr. Franklin pointed out earlier to me, a +3 weapon counts as cold iron and silver for bypassing DR.

Relevant link.

I didn't know either until a few hours ago. Weird, huh?

Edit: Ninja'd by the man himself as I typed it.

I did not know that!

A small number of bane or burst arrows could come in handy for a relatively low cost.

A +2 headband of wisdom can be a good investment, and potions of bears endurance can be handy for a quick self buff before the fight. A couple of potions of invisibility can rock too. Oil of keen weapon might be handy. Goggles of dark vision are worth considering too.

Anybody here use d20Pro? I've been playing around with the free trial and, once I've got the basics down, I'd like to try using it with someone in a relatively benign environment.

*cough*Maptools does nearly everything that does but you don't have to pay for it*cough*

Haven't used either, admittedly, but I felt like pointing it out.

And, joy of joys, they've shut down the steam line coming in to the building where the wife and I work, which means no heat. Luckily, I knew yesterday that this would be the case and had two spare space heaters in my basement. At least my cubicle is somewhat warm.

As a building engineer, I feel obliged to point out that space heaters are the biggest single culprit when people start complaining about tripped breakers. They're also a huge fire hazard.

Remember, only YOU can prevent cube farm fires...

Yeah...The FREE thing is a pretty strong draw, but I'm a user of Hero Lab and being able to create characters in that and then port them over to the online gaming platform is really helpful.

Any ideas?

Yeah get a bonus on your bow for a damage type. Thundering or something similar.
Do you already have the frost longbow, or just getting it? If the later, I imagine you'd get more mileage out of corrosive instead of frost.
You can't put "keen" on a bow, can you?

Yes, but you can put it on 5 arrows a lot cheaper.

I agree. I'm a HUGE fan. Again, I know there are free programs out there, but the full support that comes with official Pathfinder licensing is a huge plus for HL. Additionally, the program's pretty easy to use. Within a few days of purchasing it, I'd already created a fully functional (mostly) Pathfinder conversion of the Scout class.

Having all the Pathfinder RPG supplements available for purchase as data sets will ensure that I can quickly and easily duplicate almost any encounter in any Pathfinder module in a matter of seconds for use in the tactical console for my tabletop games, and for import into d20Pro, if I ever decide to run an online game.

I think that's what mayors are for.

You guys haven't had any power or gas outages I hope?

Fortunately, no. At least none that have been reported.

I agree; I don't think I've spent $40 on the core, bestiary and some expansions, but it's worth every penny to me as a GM.

Seriously!! What is it with me never getting actual time off. If I get a day off one of 3 things occur:
1) I get called into work
2) I have to run all my errands and never get to enjoy the day
3) I crash and catch up on sleep.

I so need a vacation. Working 60 hours a week between 2 jobs is killing me.

Cash in a week or two of vacation timed with your partner and whoop it up! If that won't work, work out a long week end that is just bout the two of you, or failing that, sort out a long weekend for yourself! You have to take some time for you!

Stress isn't the word. I've been up since 4 b/c my manager decided he didn't feel like doing the truck today.

As for the kick in the nuts, Jenny took them off when I signed the marriage license. They're in a little class jar by our TV. ;)

Well, Kirsten and Tom decided to run off together and fulfill their lifelong dream of joining the circus as ticket booth operators. Meanwhile, Mike and Natalie were at a loss as to how they would top the previous New Year's Eve celebration, since they didn't think authorities would allow them to have the dynamite, donkeys and midgits again. And, across town, the evil CEO of the local frisbee manufacturing company decided to....No, wait! That's my soap opera!

Trust me, we'd love to. Unfortunately, the only FLGS within driving distance of us supports only 4e. He refuses to order PF products at all, claiming Paizo is "a little known niche company who puts out fly by night products based off of someone elses games." So as far as I know we're the only PF players around here, and anybody I would play with lives in other states. :/
