I'm off to bed.
For the most part. My lower back hurts for some reason.
How are you doing?
Aww...sleep funny? That usually is my issue.
I am well. Up earlier than I would have liked to have been. Trying to get the kids to clean their rooms once again. Hell, I would settle for picked up at this point. Going to use the second trick or treating as the reward for their rooms getting cleaned up. :)
Thanks. It is a long fight....I truly despise this. :S

In both cases, not nearly enough.
It was a good show though. There were some weak spots, but the guy we had reading The Telltale Heart was awesome. He has such a great speaking voice, though, that he could read the phonebook and be entertaining.

Dancing on the other hand, only takes a little (however, my dancing is just as bad as my singing, which is to say... terrible).

I will sing...but it takes alot of alcohol to make me dance. And I am not great at either.
And I would be willing to bet that he isn;t the only one to think you are cute.
Just as well; it saved your ceiling fan.

Goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood Morning FAWLTY HOUSE!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYBODY!!!
Last night on the job was so abyssmal, I'm pretending the entire day just didn't happen. I've got my stuff together for tonight, and I'm PUMPED. The only problem is that I'm a little worried as to whether or not I'm going to be able to make the b-day party for the halloween baby tonight- it's allllllllllllllll the way in Astoria, and while it starts relatively early, it's a truly long train ride...at least two hours. I'm thinking I wont' be able to head over to my friend's house for pre-halloween fun, and may just have to meet them for the parade in manhattan. Getting to manhattan is a lot easier from Astoria than it is from Brooklyn, even on a Sunday, but still...
Ah wells. Here's hoping everyone has a truly ghoulish day...and night. Will have pics up tomorrow.
PEELS HERE!!!!

iAmby is on the fritz ever since she downloaded that phrasebook. Must've been some malware in there or something.

I really don't want to think about what to do with eels other then eating them in sushi. =/
Although, about time someone is trying to pick up Urizen's slack. =3

Everyone was rusty after not playing for 2 months while I was away on my refinery job, and we came dangerously close to a TPK last night. At one point 3 of 5 characters where under 0 HP. The 1/2 Orc barbarian's Orc Ferocity and the clerics healing and the familiars first aid saved the party. It was good to get together and game again. Diane's casserole was a hit as usual.

I think the updates to the Cheeseshop and Silly Walks apps overwrote something important.
Also, Steve Jobs says I'm old and yesterday's busted; I should be replaced with something thinner, sleeker, and sexier for a lot of cash.

We just call that style classic around here. Now where did I leave that 8-track? Ah, there it is.

We are exploring Foxglove Manor with mood lighting and music.
Overall, I felt the game played well. It was sooooooo fitting to explore a haunted house on the eve of Halloween. Everybody seemed to get into the game and played their haunts well.

Boo, y'all! :D
Happy Halloween!
So far the scariest thing that's happened today was my interactions with my daughter over her homework. :S
It's funny how sweet and helpful one daughter will become when the other one is getting in trouble.
However, the afternoon will be better, I'm sure. We'll be going to a Halloween "festival" and then out for Trick or Treating.
Enjoy your spooky night, everyone!

Long ago, Moorluck made a post that only said "Hand cramps", presumably because he had one. We assumed it was a greeting and have been using it as such ever since.
VVV Ha! I totally ruined any sense of mystery you were trying to build up!

Treppa wrote:Doing better today, thank you, other than shoulder cramps on the migraine side. Trying to taper off the massive Motrin doses slowly but before intestinal bleed happens. Is that a greeting or a genuine ailment?
I'm thinking both.
I heard something weird at rehearsal last Thursday. "You're so lucky you are playing piccolo on this piece! I'd love to be playing piccolo instead of oboe." wtf. Everyone hates picc! I then got to tell him that, in addition to Scherezade, I get to play picc on Bizet's 2nd Suite L'Arlesienne (sp??) and Night on Bald Mountain. There was massive jealousy among the double reeds! Woot!
On the downside, I'm actually going to have to practice the Night. It's crazy.

Everything. It made Blair Witch seem great.

I tried, in vain, to change my tire at 6 a.m with a tinfoil scissors jack that was bending as the suv lifted.....on Thursday.....
so, for two days it felt like somebody hammered knitting needles into my gluteus maximi.....thus giving me buttcramps.
I believe Mairkurion has copyrighted the buttcramp greeting.
EDIT: How did you get the tire changed?

From what I've heard, you either love it or hate it. Either way, Rifftrax makes everything more fun.
(Honestly, I just wanted to post that link.)

Happy Halloween to all my fellow FAWTLs. Hope you all have a better one that I will.
Hey, AZ. I saw your FB post. I hope you can find some enjoyment in the holiday. Today hasn't been the greatest day for me, either, but I'm hoping that trick or treating with my girls will be fun.
In the meantime, I'm trying to get some editing done. (I have Wayfinder 4 story assignments...It's too bad I couldnt' get a story submission turned in on time.)

One time, a guy I knew got his hands on an old phonograph and some wax cylinders (sp?) One of the ones he found was a piccolo solo. It was painful (especially because I think the speed was too high, so it was even more shrill).
Apart from that, I usually like piccolo. Plus, you get Stars and Stripes Forever.

I'll have you know I've never broken anything under the influence of alcohol. Sure, I might have sprained me knee.
Also, I busted the glass out of a vending machine while I was completely sober.
