Now if some of you luddites would get with the social network program... ;-)

Good to see you back. I hope things went as well as one could expect.

Take care.

Sad day - this evening I leave to take two of three boys back to college in Minnesota and New Mexico (I'm near Houston). I take my youngest son to college (again in Minnesota) over Labor Day.

And thus comes to an end the summer of spontaneous pathfinder games. Its been a great summer with them, I'm going to miss them all. Probably won't be all together again until December.

Awwww. I'm sorry to hear that, Tordek. Two more years and I'll be sharing that feeling.

IT'S FRIDAY!!!!!!

It would be funny if she got bombarded my FAWTLY friend requests. ;)

You know, I seem to have recalled someone out of the Colorado area that I may have ignored a couple weeks ago because we had no mutual friends and I didn't get a message how she knew me. I couldn't find anything RPG or music related in common, either. I figured I got selected by accident. Whoops. ;-)

My son and daughter both play tabletop games with me. In fact, my daughter has been pestering me about going to a major convention and lamenting the fact that we haven't played the PFRPG campaign in a long time.

Orthos? What are you doing in here? Man, I've got to start locking the door...

In other news, GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD MORNING FAWLTY HOUSE!!

Today's friday!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, I have an early shift this evening that will take me into the West Village. It's from 9 to midnight, which isn't SO bad, but I won't be taking much of a nap when I get home from the day job...
More unfortunately, one of the people who was interested in my bike on craigslist flaked on me. I'm hoping the other one does not.

On the bright side, I think I might be going to yet another intimate soiree for the second job on Saturday!!! It's from 6 pm to midnight- boucoup bucks, but yet another part of the weekend lost to the second job. I can only hope Sunday I get to recover..or maybe I can take the wife out somewheres late tonight or tomorrow!

Hey, Freehold! What "list" did you put me on earlier this week?

Tordek's son and Ashe could join my daughter's gaming group in St Paul.

Morning everyone. Trying to resist urge to hide instead of getting ready to go to work.

flips through papers

Let's see..Taig...Taig...Strangely enough, I don't have you on the Badgers Anonymous list, however you ARE listed as a CCG lover. You do realize CCGs are the work of the devil, yes?

BTW, I'm still not going back and playing catch-up -- just too busy for that these days. If I miss something important please let me know. These days its better if you send me PIE MAIL, otherwise, you or somebody will have to tell me what I missed when I pop back in. Like now. (But I'm almost gone.)

But, so are roleplaying games, some of my political views, and a lot of the music I listen to...

I've got a couple of months that I missed. I don't think I'll ever get back to them. :)

Alas, I'm trying to move back to PA in the next month or so.

That is, if companies I interview with would actually TELL ME if I'm hired or not... Professional courtesy is dead.

And, yet, I knew exactly what it was going to be.

It was an...interesting...place when I lived there. Went to Wolf Elementary and Northampton Junior High for one year each. I was one of three black kids in the area. Hilarity ensued.

[EDIT] I understand there's some kind of gaming scene in Allentown. I wonder what my life would have been like if my mom remained married to my stepdad...

Well, Allison was frustrated by the lack of cooperation in her attempt reorganize the work football pool into an organizational structure resembling the old Ottoman Empire. Meanwhile, Granville was astonished when he discovered the computer virus afflicting the company server had its origin in a supposedly abandoned research facility in Key West. And, across town, James was considering taking the other James to task for.....No, wait! That's my soap opera!

Not really sure if you can call it a 'scene', since there's only two stores that are still open, but I do know of a number of players in the area.

Dude, I'm in NY and we officially have the Strat as the one game store left. My friend's store is in Brooklyn, though, and they kinda count so I guess that's two.

Really? Hadn't noticed that one. But I've had similar experiences trying to find childs size 13. They all jump straight from 12 to 1. Last time I had to buy boots for the kidlet I had to go to seven different stores before I found one solitary pair in his size.
