So in one of our new campaigns we ran into a question about wether or not weapon finesse works with only one weapon or it it can now be applied to any and all light weapins that allow finesse? I am inclined to believe that you must choose a weapon and stick with it but I also cannot find in Pathfinder RAW if it says that. Can anyone help a man out?

PF is based on 3.5, in the change from 3e to 3.5, the requirement for it to be a specific weapon was dropped. So you don't need to pick a specific weapon for it in PF (looks like the text wasn't drastically changed from the 3.5 feat).

"Weapon Finesse (Combat)
You are trained in using your agility in melee combat, asopposed to brute strength.
Benefit: With a light weapon, rapier, whip, or spiked
chain made for a creature of your size category, you may
use your Dexterity modifier instead of your Strength
modifier on attack rolls. If you carry a shield, its armor
check penalty applies to your attack rolls.
Special: Natural weapons are considered light weapons."
The choosing a weapon for weapon finesse is an artifact from 3.0 and has since been discarded. Weapon Finesse now applies to all weapons that are listed in the feat as well as any weapon that may specifically say so in their description (elven curve blade which is listed in the core rule book and conspicuously absent from the weapon finesse feat description has this particular bit in it's description) and it can generally be assumed that if the weapon has the 'same' proficiency and weapon spec and such as another 'finesse' weapon that weapon finesse is also applicable to that particular weapon though that isn't necessarily RAW. The example of this would be the scorpion whip from Adventure's Armory which says that a person proficient with whips is proficient with scorpion whips (though it to doesn't call out weapon focus and it's tree nor finesse, you can rule it generally be treated as a whip for the purpose of those feats (this trend was established by WoTC but those weapons specifically called out those feats so I guess ignore it as you will))
