Alrighty, had a quick question regarding animals and animal companions. Now I have downloaded the Pathfinder conversion guide and no where in the guide (that I could find) does it explain how to convert 3.5 animals to Pathfinder and allow them to be used as animal companions. I know the animal companion system in Pathfinder is a little different as opposed to 3.5 and animals are given specific starting stats as well as an guide to advancement.
So basiclly what I am looking for is a kind of a rubric type of look at converting animals. Like in the guides they tell you "If X is Y then change Y to Z" etc. Is there anything like that for converting an animal companion for example "When determining starting animal size X should go down one size" or something like that? any help would be appreciated :)

Nope, not for that.
Time to use those awesome GM powers of winging it. Look at the other animal companions in the book and pick whatever seems the most similar. Look at the stats and abilities of that companion version of the animal (which are sometimes different than the non-companion version, especially when talking about familiars). Then tweak your converted animal to have stats and abilities very much like the similar animal that you used for a role-model. Try not to make it much more powerful or too weak.
Once you've done that, you're golden.
