Ok here is a few things that started happening today with the forums. At least they are happening for me.
1) When I click add a reply of a product or a blog post. It takes me to the product page of the blog post, instead of letting me post.
2) When I visit a thread that says there is x number of new posts. After I leave said thread that number is still there. Unlike before when that number would go away as soon as i viewed the post.
I am not sure why this is happening but thought I would point it out.

The weird thing is some of the threads I can post a reply in. Some I can not. I did notice now the ones that I can't post a reply in. I can still quote a post and reply. I also noticed on the threads I can't post a new post in. That where it says make a new post that link is inside of the last post. Instead of below it.
As for two I just checked and went back to the same thread twice in a row and it still shows the exact same number of new posts. Anyways Mairkurion glad I am not crazy and you are at least seeing some of the errors I am. :)

Ahhh. Right, that's because product discussion threads are now displayed only on the product page, not as part of the regular messageboards. (Blog discussion threads are also treated the same way.) The change was made because it was hard to tell if you were on a product discussion thread or looking at the product itself.
I'll have to think a bit about the best way to provide navigation back into the messageboards from a product or blog discussion thread. I'm not sure that providing the "Paizo / Messageboards / etc." at the bottom of the page is entirely appropriate in that context. Hmm.

I find those links very helpful, but that could just be the way I use the site. 95% of the time I see a product discussion is when it is listed in the messageboards (as I don't click through the store too terribly often otherwise. Also, a number of people have gotten involved in the messageboard community from those product discussions, so it seems like a good way to get the buyers involved with the rest of the maniacs. :)
Then again, what do I know? I just randomly hit the flat button machine in front of me and use the clicky shell as best I can.

I agree with adam. I tend to treat the product discussion like normal forum posts.

The forums navigation links will return to the bottom of product and blog discussion threads sometime tomorrow. First I have to finish fixing all the other stuff I broke today....
Do you know how lucky you are? How many of us have jobs where we get to break stuff and then fix it. If I did that with students, parents would complain. Well, some of them would... others, not so much :D
