I found these traits very lack luster compared to the ones to come after it. This was their first try so what do you guys think
Researching the Blot can already be done within the Pathfinder rules so what could be done to replace the ability?
I want to make one for being a very minor minor agent of the Winter Council and a contact for Kwava what other benifit could this give?

If you can wait a month and a half, the APG is going to have traits for PFRPG... I'm guessing it will be these updated and more..

Do you think they will update the Camp Traits from the old adventure paths
One of the PCs in my campaign was a junior Shin'Rakorath agent and reported to Kwava, but I never thought about making a trait for it. Have you checked out the Lantern Bearers in the Faction Guide? Maybe there's something in there that could give you some ideas....

The lantern Bearers are the Shin'Rakorath, but I don't think there are faction traits.

No, there aren't, but I was just thinking that one of the boons might give him an idea for a trait. Getting out the book and actually looking at it, though, they aren't all that helpful.

I made it a flat +2 bonus to Spellcraft checks to ID magic items. I think that lines up pretty well with the amount of bonus granted by other traits.

I think we made it +4 cause it was such a limited scope of the skill

Researching the blot is still useful (if I recall) for classes without casting ability.
