And so it happens. I need more space, I need more $, And I haven't cracked a cover on any of my 3.5 books since Pathfinder rolled out in strength. I have a large collection--almost everything WotC ever published for the "core" or generic D&D setting, plus mosts of the Forgotten Realms and Eberron books.
Any folks here have advice on the best means of turning these into cash? I'm not looking to gouge anyone, just get a fair market value and sell as many as I can to as few people as possible for logistical reasons.
Barring any other options, I suppose I'll go the eBay route.

I know somebody looking for a Magic Item Compendium. That's about it though, so I'd concede to anybody buying up several books.
I was falling away from WotC by the time MIC was released, so it's actually one of the books I don't have.
I'll put together a full list, but it's pretty much everything from 2000 to 2007 or so. They are all in good shape. As for prices, that's one of the areas where I'm looking for some input--any good source of comparable expected sale prices?
I'm pretty much an ebay fanatic and have spent hundreds of dollars gettings more 3.5 stuff so heres my advice.
Sell the whole thing as a lot. Starting bid will depend on the size of the collection, a recent 78 book collection went for around 400 or so. Players handbooks are popular by themselves and go for as little as 20 to upwards of 50 each. Seperate the eberron stuff and use that as a seperate lot from the realms stuff. I'm hopeing you post your collection here so I can get a chance to bid.

Best advice I can give is check out online stores that carry that stuff and ebay. Being a private seller you won't make as much as them. (they tend to have a established rep already of trust, so you need to undercut them a little) That's the best advice I can give for pricing.
Though I agree with the rest I hope you list them here. There is a couple of books I would like and I know some friends are looking for some to.
Thanks for the feedback. I was wondering about the lot vs. single sales. I used to do a great deal of eBay (actually that's where most of these came from) but haven't in the last 2-3 years.
And I'll definitely post things here fist--I love my Paizo friends best!
I plan on keeping some of the books that are just nice in and of themselves...things like the Draconomicon.
