Movement bonus in favored terrain...

I was curious if it would be a good idea if the ranger received a bonus to movement while in their favored terrain perhaps even just +10ft or scale it, it seems strange to me that a monk could out distance a ranger in there "home"

that or bonus to movement types example, water they get bonus to swimming or in mountains the get climb bonuses.

Nothing wrong with that. Just remember that a ranger effectively does get this when he can start moving through undergrowth and when he gets swift tracker, as he's no longer being penalized so much as the other party members.
