Recruiting for Pathfinder Homebrew Arctic Campaign.

Gamer Connection

I am recruiting for my campaign and I require one additional player.

I am hosting this game on a website called GaiaOnline, thus you will require an account there to play. If you do not have an account, let me invite you, it'll help me out with daily chance rewards (nothing special, but something for the hell of it.) We all have to waste our digital time on something.

The website link. http://www.gaiaonline.com/
Anyway. The Details.

I am currently recruiting for my Pathfinder Homebrew "Northlands of Gimle" campaign.

If you wish to apply please read through the information, specifically the house rules section. All the other homebrew information is pretty much optional. Anyway, hopefully we can get some new players.

If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Campaign Setting
The deadly, frozen North Lands are an extreme environment. This land is known to the species of the world as Gimle, and has recently been thrown into a much colder environment than usual.

Plagues of undeath are ravaging across the land, consuming and utilizing animals, humanoids, and other powerful creatures. In addition to the onslaught of a gathering swarm of undead, the High Master's of the human Mageocratic Kingdom of Schzulvind (Blackwind). Have noticed a significant decline in the available magical energies that surround any location where undead have been engaged. Thus the High Master's have concluded that the two events must be in relation to one another, and have begun moving their pieces across the board. However, they are unable to handle the rising threat alone due to the waning magic they control, and the local guard force of Gimle is not large enough to protect all of Gimle's Inhabitants. This chaos combined with the winter season and population increase due to refugees from a neighboring continent at war. Has lead to the High Master's issuing offers of riches to those who would be willing to take up the task of protecting the people, fighting back the threat of undead, and researching into the disappearance of magic.

The Dwarven Capital of Lyt Kal-Thax (Little Cold Forge) has offered to take in survivors from the Human region of Gimle, but only to an extent, the Dwarves do not trust the wizards of Schzulvind and this have not sent any forces to guide the refugees fleeing toward their capital. Thus the humans must make their own way to the Dwarven Capital without aid until they arrive at its gate.

The High Masters are outraged and some suspect their own to be the cause of these disasters. Rumors spread that some of the High Masters have begun to work alone due to their distrust for the others. Schzulvind is beginning to see riots, its inhabitants crying out for answers as some begin to starve due to the diminishing winter stores.

Oh yeah, hitpoints or gold are choice of take full hitpoints at first, then roll or take average.

Gold is roll or take average.

Hope I'm not forgetting anything else.

I am not familiar with GaiaOnline, although I have looked over the pages you linked to. Is this a pbp game or a live game?

What are the other characters in the group and what does the group need?

It is a PBP game at current, and I do not believe it shall evolve past that.

The current characters in the group are as follows;

- Cleric
- Wizard/Cleric
- Knight or Fighter (I'm assuming, most likely correct).
- Sorcerer
- Druid
- ?You?

That's basically the party lay out. I do not really want to inform you of what their specifics are as I wish to not encourage meta gaming. Which I already sort of have by already telling you the classes.

I will inform you however that the party does not require any class in specific. All bases are pretty much taken care of.

Oh, if you do desire to play, please use the text file character sheet I've provided in the official thread. I store my character sheets on wordpad files. You may use an online sheet if you desire, just for my own personal use, I prefer offline word text sheets.

I'm interested as well. Are you full?

I am able to open up an additional slot by expanding the maximum amount of players, and or am capable of removing the Druid whom is basically a background PC or NPC. (Myself)

Thus making room for an additional player slot either way

Thus if you are an active player I would be open to doing one of the above.

Was just gonna say to add me on msn but I do not believe we have a private message system and would not like for anyone to get spammed by random spammers.

I believe I have a solution, if you are interested in joining, I communicate via msn. Please e-mail the following e-mail address.

Insanity_Logic@hotmail.com

Also post that you have e-mailed that address. Include in this e-mail your own e-mail. I will then add this to my real msn and shall contact you.

That's fine. I only asked since a lot of groups tend to prefer that there be a sufficient "balance" of classes. Though the fact that you didn't mention them in your original post probably should have clued me in that your group didn't care about that. (In my defense, I was posting late at night. I had gotten out of bed because I was unable to sleep, but I turned out to be more tired than I thought.)

Anyway, I would be interested in joining. I'll stat up a character and then e-mail you at the address you posted above.

I have emailed you with my msn address. I like your variant druid rules, although I'm not familiar with combat facing rules - never have used them. I still don't know what to play exactly, so I'll wait till you contact me on msn.

I've e-mailed you with my msn address and a character proposal. I, too, have never used combat facing before, but I've read over the rules, and it shouldn't take me long to get used to them.

I was posting late at night too, I slept in till 3 pm. lol. Was up till 8 AM. My sleeping schedule is currently horrible.

I am definitely interested. I am extremely experienced with Gaia and actually have my own RP/Dnd/PF Guild. I am interested in playing a Alchemist or a Witch if theres still a spot left.

Well, Aetholus, you've contacted me on Gaia so we'll talk there. As for everyone else -> I'm no longer accepting entries, I apologize but we're full up.

If I start any future games I'll make sure to stop by here.

Liberty's Edge

Roger that i'll keep an eye on this thread =)

I'll make up a mock character in the mean time so i'm ready and available.
I don't have any experience with gaiaonline but I will start looking into it more and learn the basics at least.
