Vital statistics for the different human sub-races?

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

I would like to know if there are specific vital statistics (esp. height and weight) for the different human sub-races published somewhere?

PS: This is a repost. I originally posted this in the Pathfinder Campaign Setting part of the Messageboards (which to me seems the correct place for this question), but there was no reaction whatsoever. There seems to be a real problem with structure of these forums. There are so many branches/sub-forums that some parts are totally devoid of activity.

There is, in the "Additional Rules" section of the core book (where carrying capacity is covered). There's a table to randomly roll for starting ages, height, and weight. You can also find it in the PRD, additional rules section.

I know about the normal Vital Statistics. But I am wondering about Vital Statistics for the different Human peoples. Like Chelaxians, Ulfen, Mwangi, Taldan,...

This was actually something I liked about 3.5 Forgotten Realms. They had the Vital Stastics for the various human ethnicities (and the non-human ones as well). I think it added to the flavor to have NPCs and PCs matching the hieghts for their ethnic stock. If you have Races of Faerun you could find the Vital Statistics that closest match the descriptions of the Golarion human ethnicities.

I wonder if we'll get a "Humans of Golarion". Maybe they could give the Vital Statistics for them there?

I would be all for it myself. having the various human ethnicities fleshed out more really brought a more solid feel to Realms for me. I think the same would happen for Golarion.

What I miss most about Faerun is normal sized elves (yeah, yeah, I know... Tolkien and whatnot). From a Vital Statistics standpoint it's just not fair for them to be taller AND have ten times the life expectancy.

Not to mention that it just doesn't make any sense... Normally the taller you are, the LESS agile and MORE tough you get...

Players Guide for Rise of the Runelords adventure path includes chart of typical heights and weights of races encountered in Varisia (including Chelaxians, Varisians and Shoanti if my memory serves me right). Not sure if such chart is used in later published player guides.

I checked it, but there are no differentiated human Vital Statistics. Just separate descriptive paragraphs for Chelaxians, Varisians and Shoanti.

such tables would be nice.

Since it seems there aren't any such Vital Statistics specified, let's collect some ideas...

For height and weight:
I don't know how the Races of Faerun mentioned above handled this, but since the ethnic-groups all belong to the same race I propose that one of the two factors (base height and modifier) should be the same for all. This would show that they all belong together. Personally I would keep the same modifier for all and give each ethnicity a different base height. While I don't know the specifics, the ranking from tallest to shortest seems to be:
Ulfen->Chelaxian->Mwangi->Taldan->Varisian->Kellid->Garun di->Vudrani->Keleshite->Tian
I left out the Azlanti since they don't really exist anymore. Also I'm not sure about some groups like the Kellid and Vudrani.
Weight obviously follows from height.

For age:
This seems a lot trickier and I'd even say there aren't any differences between the groups. This is obviously because age depends a lot more on external effects (ie living circumstances) than height.
