Hi!!!
I'm Myffany Salvania, cleric of Shelyn. I like long walks on the beach, admiring fine art, strolling through beautiful gardens, hugging puppies, counselling young couples, and POWER ATTACKING the heck out of the bad, nasty, mean, evil villains.
I’m almost a high priestess (11th level), are there any adventures available for me to play at Genconoz? Are there any other adventurers who also want some high level action?
Myff

Hello fellow Pathfinder,
We're thick in the middle of scheduling scenarios to run at GenConOz in Brisbane Australia Thusday 23rd to Sunday 26th September 2010.
I'm committed to providing a range of low-level scenarios for new players, and mid-tier scenarios for continuing characters.
I strongly recommend players create a secondary character any time their lowest level character no-longer qualifies to play at a low-tier table (eg, upon reaching 4th level). That way, you'll always have a character for any tier.
Remember, a player with a high-level character can still join a low-level table with a new character, but the opposite isn't true.
The Advanced Player's Guide due for release in July is full of new character ideas, from new feats and spells, variant class abilities such as hungry ghost monk or urban ranger, and the much anticipated new base classes, alchemist, cavalier, oracle, summoner, witch - what more incentive to you need to start a new character?
However, I do recognise that there may be some hard-core players out there with high level characters looking for a game, and part of the appeal of Pathfinder Society is watching your character grow to meet tougher challenges over time.
So that we may provide scenarios appropriate for your characters, I'd ask anyone planning to attend GenConOz this year to introduce your characters here, and clearly state your character's current level (provide in brackets your character's anticipated level come September if you know you'll be doing more gaming between now and then).
While I recognise this poll will be biased toward message-board regulars who are likely to be regular gamers, and will miss hearing from new players who GenConOz is their first Pathfinder experience, this should alert us if there is a need to provide high-tier scenarios, or just focus on the low- to mid-tier ones.
I'll start the ball rolling by introducing my own characters, although they probably won't be making an appearance at GenConOz, as I'll be running scenarios every session for you guys instead ;-)
Madusha, human Mwangi witch-doctor (3rd level witch)
Slip, halfling former Chelish slave (9th level cleric)
(Sorry this is my second attempt at this post, first one got eaten by a giant purple golem)

Well I plan on attending Gen Con again this year. Hopefully I'll get two full days in which should pump me up from my current level of 2, to the heady heights of 3 and a bit. (4 games last gencon and 4 games this gen con should get me to level 3 correct?)
Unfortunately my time is taken up with pursuing my home campaigns so I never get to play or run organised play games. Unfortunate really since there was a group that was trying to get up and running at one stage, but I haven't heard how its all going now.
If anyone knows about organised play in Brisbane, can they post some info here, I'd be interested to see what's going on.
Cheers

Hi Korrbadaa,
Yup, eight games should advance you to third level.
Unfortunately, running Pathfinder Society scenarios in preparation for conventions like GenConOz has taken away time I previously ran adventure paths. Well, that and house-hunting. But now house-hunting is behind me, I hope to resurrect one of my adventure paths soon (fingers crossed!)
I'd be surprised if there were no organised play in Brisbane after running Pathfinder Society at GenConOz for four days last year? C'mon guys, what's happening?
This year, I hope to organise a Pathfinder Society after-party or dinner or some social meetup in the missing Sunday evening session to give Pathfinder players an opportunity to network with others or find out what's happening in their local area.
Look forward to seeing you at the games :-)
Cheers,
DarkWhite

Don't despair - we will absolutely(!) be running Pathfinder sessions Thurs 23rd - Sun 26th September, as there are too many interstate players who already have airfares/accommodation booked looking for something to do in Brisbane.
We'll make an announcement as soon as we have secured a venue, which we're hoping will be in the next few days.
