What Ho All,

I just wanted to drop a note here to let everyone know that Road of the Dead is now available for pre-order at UK Amazon and US Amazon for the great price of £6.99 and $7.99 respectively. Road of the Dead will also be available from July 16th as an extensively bookmarked 48-page PDF from Paizo and Your Games Now. For more information about Road of the Dead, check out ragingswan.com and look for our series of sneak peeks starting in July.

About Road of the Dead
A Pathfinder Roleplaying Game adventure for four 3rd-level PCs by Creighton Broadhurst

Centuries ago, the Tuath were a mighty folk who strove against the goblins of the Tangled Wood for dominion over that ancient place. Defeated by treachery and their feral, warlike enemies the Tuath’s civilisation was thrown down. Their settlements were sacked, their places of strength broken open and their holy places despoiled; the few survivors melted away into the trackless gloom of the deep forest leaving behind nothing but remnants of their once-great culture. The Road of the Dead, a ceremonial pathway representing a soul’s journey to the underworld, is one such fragment that yet lingers in the Tangled Wood awaiting the brave or the foolhardy. A cunningly designed death-trap, it hides the forgotten treasures and legends of a fallen people.

Road of the Dead is Raging Swan’s first “Go Play” adventure. Go Play adventures are designed so that the average GM can be ready to play in about one hour. The module comes with a GM-friendly layout, six pre-generated characters, Players’ Illustrations of all major encounter areas and Players’ Handouts for all new magic items.

Is this related to Retribution?

I understand that it's set in the same general area, but has it some more specific ties to the other adventure?

Nope, it's a standalone module. As you note, it is set in the same general area as Retribution, though. If you wanted to link the two, you could have the PCs find an old map (perhaps in the main protagonists's possession.) Note, though, that Retribution is a 1st-level module and Road of the Dead is for 3rd-level PCs. You'd need to construct some filler adventures to make sure the PCs were ready for the challenges in RotD.

Okeley-dokeley, thanks.

I'm definitively grabbing this, the Lonely Coast is quite intriguing and its generic character seems to fit quite well both in Varisia and Iobaria.

Excellent! Keep an eye on Raging Swan's Facebook page as I'll be posting some concept art on there soon!
