Looking at running a game set in Rivermoot and was wondering it there was a bit of information out there. I've read through the book, but it barely gets a mention.
Also I'd like to know about the Castle of Illusions. Thats one place I don't see any info about.
Any help would be much appreciated.
There are two paragraphs about the Castle of Illusions on p26 of the 3.5 FR accessory Silver Marches. Rivermoot isn't mentioned in there other than its image on the Silverymoon/Evermoors environs. On page 22 in the Evermoors section it mentions that Nesme is the only settlement of any decent size in the Moors, but since Rivermoot is *technically* out of the Moors, its hard to gauge what sort of town it is. I'd take Steven Tindall's suggestion and tailor it to what you need it to be.
I would probably make it a Small Town class, with river trade from the North (Mithril Hall) and both the Rauvin (Silverymoon) and Surbrin (Nesme and eventually all the way down to Waterdeep) being an important facet of life. Silverymoon itself is pretty close, so I imagine it has a lot of influence in the town as well.

Cheers for the replies. The general plan is to make it that classical small town about to experience a bit of a boom. I plan to make river trade a key part because its seems natural that given its location on two main rivers.
In some of my google searches Rivermoot comes up in a D&D RPG (NWN?) so was hoping someone who had played a bit of that would be able to shed a bit of light on the lovely little town Rivermoot.
I must have glanced over and missed that bit on the Castle of Illusion so thanks for pointing that out. Gives me all I need to get started on the location.
