Charisma-based Fort save vs. disease?

I'm having trouble with this entry on ghoul fever in the Bestiary:

Ghoul Fever: Bite—injury; save Fort DC 13; onset 1 day; frequency 1/day; effect 1d3 Con and 1d3 Dex damage; cure 2 consecutive saves. The save DC is Charisma-based.

Most of that is clear: if you suffer a bite injury from a ghoul, you make an immediate Fort save @ DC 13 to determine whether you contract the disease. If that save is failed, one day later you make another Fort save to determine the disease's effect: failure means CON and DEX loss, success means no effect the first day. Each day, roll again; two consecutive saves means the disease has run its course and no further effects will be felt.

Where does CHA come in?

Where does CHA come in?

That means the actual DC, 13, is based on the ghoul's Charisma. If the ghoul's Charisma goes up, the save DC for saves made against his disease increase.

Usually, disease and poison ability DCs are Constitution-based, but if the creature in question is undead, it has no Constitution score, and thus Charisma is used instead.

Hmm. Okay, makes sense. Since the above equation isn't part of the Ghoul entry, can I assume that the "DC 10 + HD/2" portion is a general rule for any poison or disease associated with a creature's natural attacks? And if so, where would that be spelled out?
