Liberty's Edge

Does hardness reduce from all types of damage, magic, ect or just physical? The book just says damage so i assume all types of damage.

Hardness does apply towards all forms of damage. Some forms of damage do even less then normal, such as energy attacks or ranged weapons.

Does Adamantine weaponry still bypass hardness like in 3.5?

It specifically bypasses hardness under 20. If the hardness is over 20 it has no effect on the hardness of what it is striking.

Energy effects half the damage before applying hardness unless specified otherwise by the GM (this part is actually part of the rules too).

As far as Hardness in the RAW, what has a hardness over 20? Seems like adamantine tops out the list at 20..., maybe diamond or enchanted adamantine. I'm sure there are GM creations out there that top 20 hardness.

For every +1 a magical item has it increases the Hardness by 2. So a +1 adamantine longsword has a Hardness of 22.

Magical reinforcement can increase hardness above 20. The hardness spell adds half the caster level of the caster to the hardness of an object too. Magical weapons add +2 to their hardness for each +1 of enhancement bonus they have (it also increases HP). Currently magical weapons can't be sundered by a weapon that isn't at least as magical as they are too.

So "as least as magical as they are" to sunder = total enhancement bonuses or just the actual + to hit and damage? I'm assuming the latter....and that this applies to armor sundering as well.

It says enhancement bonus rather then enhancement bonus equivalent or special abilities.
