Laws of Cheliax?

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

Hello, I became fascinated with hellknights, not as player characters, but as antagonists that don't necessarily have to be smitable by a paladin. Now it seems that every order has its one specialty they fight against but all that are stationed in Cheliax also defend the laws of their country. Now my question is: What are the laws in Cheliax? They will probably be unfair and draconic (LE), but I would like a bit more specific information. Is there any source where I could find it?

Well, the Cheliax: empire of Devils-book is very good source of information. Also, Some of the Council of the Thieves adventure path's also can help you, it even has a guide about hellknights!

Chealiax is an very interesting country, in fact, I dont think that the normal citizens even notice thath the laws are unfair, because they have quite good police-and guard systems. Laws are maybe hard and possibly unfair, but a normal citizens dont stress about that. Sure, they affect them, but if they just act nicely and to what their social place allows them, they did'nt NEED to be afraid of those laws. And, I think that the most strict laws are against other religions, not people.

Thanks, I already have the Council of Thieves, but I'm looking for a bit more, so I guess I'm going to try the Cheliax book.^^

Of course, it's always nice if you can live undisturbed, as long as you never come in conflict with the law. But where forgery is punishable by death it seems that's mainly a privilege of people that have enough money. :D

There is almost a full page about law and laws in the guide. But there is no list of laws or common punishments and that is something I wished they had in all the companions about countries or cities.

I agree. I just downloaded it, and it's kind of weird to have a list with offenses and the bribes to avoid punishment for them but without the punishments themselves.O_o
